it fits all the criteria you say, he mentions hes a democrat, wants to change direction, says republican congress and president bush over and over again. i think you guys might like it.

then again, this is RI. so dem label probably doesnt  poll badly there. maybe he wants to be not labeled some dem machine candidate like Providence has had or something, i dont know

i personally thought this ad was good. when democrat name brand isnt polling well, it may not be genius to put it in the ad. and by your logic if everyone knows him, they know hes a democrat. either way - i thought the issues and delievery of this ad were good, as opposed to the burner ad which i thought was poorly done and just dragged on for a minute. this ad kept me into it for the whole minute

how do you know shes a dino? im sure you know a lot about what she thinks. if you look at the self identification, there are only 25 % liberals compared to 35 % conservative. we cant win without moderates. not to mention, ill take what i can get in Nebraska, the place where Ben nelson as a popular sitting governor and very conservative democrat couldnt win an open seat versus unknown chuck hagel in 1996.

anyone can join a caucus. and who cares if they dont agree with that caucus? then they are just gonna get tarred for it. There are no tangible benefits from being in a certain caucus, you dont get better subcomittee seats or anything. its just a way of labeling yourself and what your looking to do, and its not fooling anyone if your in a caucus you dont agree with.

he isnt more conservative. they are about the same which is mainstream democrats. im using this to say that langevin ISNT conservative, not that kennedy IS.
