Rove's words must be ringing in his head...DONT SCOWL OR SMIRK...He looks like he is concentrating very hard to keep from scowling or smirking...Like he is confused with a math problem or something.

Kerry Looks Better, but Bush isn't looking as bad as he did last week.  Let's see what happens as we go along.

Open the major sites up on your PC now.  Some of the polls (such as AOL) started in the middle.  If someone sees a poll open, post in this and the open thread so we can start the stuff.

    Cmon John...

IT'S TIME TO BRING THE PAIN!!!

I don't want to win tonight, I want a crushing, blow struck against W.  I want Kerry to go Darth Vader (circa Empire) on Bush's Ass.  Hopefully, when Bush gives him the opening, Kerry won't just strike; he will tear out the jugular.

I wonder if some of these jobs are the people Halliburton is sending to Iraq?

I say this as someone who desperately wants the economy to rebound (although the failing economy hurts bush...Kind of a catch 22)...We were all fearing a trumped up jobs report...What if this was a trumped up report?  They can't overinflate too much or the BLS loses all credibility.  They probably can't handle an adjustment of more than 50-100K jobs.  So, these numbers may actually be worse than what was published.  Things are getting worse and if the monkey is re-elected, this country will be in the toilet further.

I was not bashing Jews, I was comparing a group from today to a group from that passage.  Jesus said feed the poor and help those in need.  Jesus is the ultimate bleeding heart liberal.

Jesus never said "teach a man to fish...This is attributed to a Chinese Proverb...(if you know the part in the bible please let me know) http://www.bartleby.com/73/484.html.

Patrick Henry would be in favor of a free Iraq, as BOTH George Bush AND John Kerry and most of the country are.  However, Patrick Henry would never have voted for any administration that passed the Patriot Act.  His philosophies run counter to everything in that act.

I agree a free exchange of ideas is a good idea, your posts were not really this.  Of course my rant about you shooting yourself was meant tounge and cheek.  And for the record, Hitler would have you killed, not have you kill yourself.

My energy stems from 4 years of a progressively worsening situation in this country.  I have never been this angry with a president, and that anger turns to activism.  It is the same anger GOPers had for Clinton since 1992.  Do I blame Bush for 9-11?  Not really, as I think it would have happened regardless of the President.  Do I think he has made the country safer?  No!!! He has taken away some of our liberties.  He has taken his eye off of catching Bin Laden and other terrorists to chase windmills (a Don Quixote reference if you were unfamiliar) in Iraq.  Jobs are down, the middle class is disapeering.  I am not as angry with Bush as I am with his fans and staffers.  They have and continue to disenfranchise voters in most swing states.  They allow the shrinking of the middle class by focusing on issues such as abortion and gay marriage; topics that ultimately will never be settled.  Abortion could be determined illegal by a conservative court, going against the majority of Americans who support the right to choose...Gay marriage if it was legalized will be an issue as well; I still hear people complain about interracial marriage.  (The Dems have there issues too, such as the enviroment).  3000 people have died from terrorism in the country.  How many from e lost hunger?  How many people have lost homes?  The administration is using fear to misdirect people from the other problems in the country.  They effectively prey upon the stupid, to the point where people don't use logic.  Moms in rural areas want polling places removed from schools...Logically, no terrorist is attacking there places...But the Bush message of fear is helping destroy all sense of logic.

Agree or disagree with me Patrick is fine.  You started this crap with your trolling on this board.  You should expect inflammatory comments to be met with equal or greater reaction.  You want to contructively criticise Kerry, feel free to.  But don't troll this board and then be offended when someone calls you on it.
