IF YOU ARE SUPPORTING EDWARDS,OBAMA OR CLINTON,YOU MUST READ THIS.
Steve Kirsch is based in San Jose ,Ca. and did this analysis of the 3 candidates.Steve published An analysis of Bush, which correctly predicted that Bush would be a disaster.Steve is very concerned about the environment and world safety issues. His analysis says it all.
Highly recommend you glance at the chart of what the candidates did before the Iraq funding bill.
Who shows leadership? I think it's cristal clear.

A few weeks ago I attended the Human Rights campaign where Elizabeth Edwards was to speak. Many of us came from Marin, Sonoma,Oakland,Berkeley,Pacifica, and other places in the Bay Area and of course ,San Francisco.
I brought my 2 young children ages 6 and 8 and my older daughter who is 19.
I must say that holding up Edwards rally signs and talking about Edwards was becoming a bit old for all three of them UNTIL we saw Elizabeth Edwards. My youngest daughter greeted her with an immense bouquet of flowers (that one of the volunteers asked if she would like to give)and Elizabeth kneeled down and told my daughter," You are my new friend". This same daughter, who is 8, wants to be President one day( long before she met Elizabeth). She dresses like a President...shirt ,tie and homemade sign that states her name and then President.
Since this family is not a Hillary supporter, it has been a bit sad to not go all out in support of a woman candidate and have a great example of a woman President. Luckily we have Elizabeth who they can look up to. After Elizabeth's heart-warming speech,my oldest daughter said that it had all been worth it(holding up the rally signs),so that she could hear Elizabeth speak. She was amazed and touched.

With that said, I am nervous about the Republicans creeping up on the Democrats and us loosing the election...
I urge you all to turn off you TV and get out. Dedicate the next 17 months to your country. Volunteer to walk precincts or place calls to voters.
Blogging is great, nothing compares direct contact!

If Democrats can't see through the attack that Fox News and others are putting out on Hillary and Edwards conspiring to oust out some of the candidates from future debates, you really have to ask yourselves how gullible are you?

Yes disappointed.
I guess I thought that this election would be different. Democrats would be talking a storm about the issues ,the policies, the caring, the truth, the transparency ,and the honest feeling that we don't care and will not care how much money a candidate will be raising because we care about the person and not the purse!

I have been wondering,as many of you have I'm sure ,which candidate is going to fill the President's shoes.
What are you looking for? Same qualities as Pres. Bush(!)..a bit more center or a bit more to the left...and what does all that mean anyway in today's terms.
About a year ago I was listening to the radio in my car and pulled over to write down - what are the character traits of a great leader. A professor of Moral Leadership from the Center of Ethics was speaking about the values our leaders should have. These were the character traits she mentioned:
-integrity
-relationship skills(how well a leader can understand or relate to others problems)
-honesty
-good listener
-sincerely apologize,when wrong
-share credit,take blame
-communication skills
-sharing the hardship with the "troops"(willing to do the work that they expect others to do),roll up their sleeves
-role model
and....
-if placed under certain pressure will still stand behind the above character traits
Is this not what we ALL want in a leader?
I would like to know how your values ring right about now...
What are you looking for in a leader?
So next time you are all watching, listening,
reading about the Presidential candidates, try to look into the candidates a bit deeper, a bit closer and don't just pay attention to the surface media frenzy.
We have right now a candidate who is ready to be our Leader.Watch carefully...
