I, for one, am really sick of all the BS going on in all the national blogs, here, dKos, whatever. Grow up people. Your candidate's not the nominee? Sorry, but the fact is that if we get Mr. Third Term, things are far worse. So, let's let the election play out, civilly. And then when the result is clear, take a day, have a good cry if necessary, then get to working to ensure that Mr. Third Term never becomes president.
Why, none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not sure if the ditching the GOP changes anything, but arnold is all over bloomberg recently. (see my diary for more on that...)
I heard an interview with Chris Anderson a while back, and well, there is a lot of truth in his book. You see the results on the internet particularly well, with itunes and the like.
i actually spoke to a friend yesterday who commented that calitics assumed an insider knowledge. I was kind of suprised by that, but going back I think it's true. For my part, I'll do my best to provide background as much as possible. Oh, and I'll try to optimize for searching too.
For a lot of us who walked for McNerney, this was one of the motivating factors. Iraq isn't just some vote. It's the vote. I'm not giving up on him yet, but it's going to be hard to justify driving out to Danville next year for this kind of BS.
Why does he deserve money? I deserve money for blogging about California politics for the last two years, but I didn't send Phil Angelides a bill. If you volunteer to do something, you can't ask money for it later.
Also, appropriating somebody's name is well, confusing for the consumer.
Perhaps, but AT&T has lots and lots of money, and resolutions are expensive. Bing spent $80 million on Prop 87 (oil tax) and that still failed. I suppose we could get it through if Yahoo and Google poured some cash in, but it seems unlikely.
Now, I'm not going to say don't put your money on Charlie Brown in CA-04, but the district is hardly a swing district. Charlie Brown, like Jerry McNerney has no political history. I'm in favor of building a bench, but that ain't the only way to win a race. As shown by Jerry and Charlie, one way is to just show up, try hard, and work with the grassroots.
Of course, finding a self-funder wouldn't hurt either...

No Third Term!
Perhaps, but, the beer garden outside is a great place to hang out in the summer (even if it is a smidge cold).
I think the contact highs are free too.
I went for DL yesterday, and I'll be back tomorrow. Next time I'll remember to wear a warmer sweater...it gets cool when the wind picks up.

With Bloomberg leaving the GOP and all...
Good news for whom?
Ditto that.
By the way, people in the California/Nevada area should really be reading Turn Tahoe Blue. It's awesome.
Where's the love for those on the left half of the country? Wasatch Watcher and Blue Oregon are pretty great...and ... uh, calitics ain't so bad.

That's John Duncan, you're thinking of Duncan Hunter who is running for president. He's very pro-War
All I'm saying is that intent is a difficult fact to prove, and this has the potential to be abused. Will it be abused? Who knows...
Also, I see no reason why we need a special law for this. If you are threatening somebody online, regular laws still apply. Why the special law?
