Today there is a grassroots movement for a Hillary Clinton money bomb to help show Hillary that no matter what, we're there for her.  We need to show the same resolve and resiliency that Hillary has shown all of us.  Here are many of the reasons you should donate to Hillary:

- If you want health care coverage for every woman, man and child, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to end the war in Iraq in a responsible manner, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to strengthen the Middle Class through progressive economic policies, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to make college affordable and accessible to everyone, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to help avert Global Warming through policies that will find good, clean alternative energy sources, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to help promote a livable working wage and job security for our working men and women, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to avert disaster in the housing market through reasoned economic policies, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to restore America's standing in the world by electing a respected leader recognized as an agent of change across the world, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want comprehensive government reform by strengthening whistle blower protections and having greater transparency, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want to improve our school system by an infusion of funding with better policies to assists our at-risk youth and prevent drop-out rates along with universal pre-K, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want comprehensive immigration reform that will respect the many men and women who are here without papers, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you long for equal rights for every man, woman and child, regardless of his or her race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or sexual orientation, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

- If you want a person who has made it her life's work to help bring positive change to our society in ways we couldn't imagine, then DONATE TO HILLARY!

Please DONATE TO HILLARY! and make sure to spread the word and get out and vote.  Her voice is our voice - now let the voice of the people be heard!

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!
Why donate to Hillary when you can donate to Obama?

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Because she'd be a far better president than he would.  Duh?

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Oh yeah that, and perpetuate the politics of pity and fear.  Hillary, red in tooth and claw.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Well, weneed, unfortunately, a person who might not be signing your petition is your preferred candidate, Obama.  You see, he said himself, shortly after he violated the pledge not to campaign in either Florida or Michigan, that he would seat those delegations:  here

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

You can write your own diary to support Obama. This is truly childish.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

So Obama is claiming Nevada as a win, I see.  And yet he is also claiming Missouri.

by DaveOinSF 2008-02-12 08:31AM | 0 recs
Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

At one point he claims the delegate count should determine the winner, then the next it's the popular vote.  Nationally, it's only the pledged delegate count and the super-delegates should follow.  Then when asked about Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, they should vote for who they think is the best.  It's so hard to figure out where Obama stands.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Obama doesnt stand for anything. He sways with the wind and then says "They said...They said...". Come on what did you say?

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

LOL.  I couldn't agree more.  He sways inconsistently.  But his supporters love him so much, they will follow whatever he does.

- Don't drink the Obama kool-aid!

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

"It's so hard to figure out where Obama stands."

If Hillary did it, it would be called "triangulation."

Since Obama is doing it, it's called "change we can believe in."

Maybe it should be...

..."change when I want to"

Stop trolling!

Seriously, "weneedobama", whoever you really are... It's not proper "netiquette" to hijack other people's threads. Oh yes, and you're also violating MyDD rules by publishing more than 2 diaries per day. Unless you want us to report you to admin, STOP ACTING LIKE A TROLL.

You have every right to promote Obama here... Just do it lawfully and not so rudely. Thanks.

I keep bringing up the Nuke Issue...

...to young Obamabots, but they are glazed over in a trance of hopeful awe. This is not saying much good about a generation...and the political operatives manipulating their "American Idol" -trained electorate. Just text your vote now.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Wow.  North Dakota and Idaho.  States sure to go Democratic in November.  Not.  This obsession with the number of states is silly.  It's the most populated states, with the most electoral votes, where Hillary has won -- and those are the states that will vote Democratic in November.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I just did.  I am hoping we can get together and do that $10.44 thing that I saw on a thread yesterday.  The 44 is supposed to symbolize that she will be the 44th President.   I like the idea.

Incidentally, I had a thread about a few simple things to help Hillary's campaign.  I posted it at 1:00am last night.  How did it disappear so quickly.....????

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I donated the $10.44 today, even though I gave $25 on Friday.  I'm in no way a big money donor, and I never will be in the profession I have.  However, if I can do something to stem the tide, then I will!

My apologies - my code wrong for all of my hyperlinks.  They should work now.  Please support Hillary!  Give $10.44 or more if you can!

Thanks, unabashed dem!

You're doing a real service to us and to Hillary today! I hope we can all keep up the great work, so we can show this nation what Hillary's grassroots support really looks like! :-)

Re: Fixed the links

Unabashed Dem, I LOVE your diary!  It is so pithy and inspiring!

Is there any chance you'd let me reprint it at No Quarter?
http://noquarterusa.net/blog/

Under your name, of course, and with a prominent link to your diary here?

Re: Fixed the links

ALSO:  Please e-mail me at susanunpc at gmail dot com so I know if you agree that I may repost your diary.  Thanks.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!
I gave $25.44 today and gave $100 last week . I gave up beer for Lent and will give all my beer money to Hillary. Are other Hillary supporters doing the same and sacrificing something?
by Safe at Home 2008-02-12 07:24AM | 0 recs
Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Awesome.  I actually did something similar.  I eat out a lot, and I committed for Lent not to eat out so that I could give Hillary $50 a week, which I figured would be about the savings from cooking and eating in.

by unabashed dem 2008-02-12 07:31AM | 0 recs
Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I gave up soft drinks for Lent. I didn't think about using the money to help Hillary but I gave anyway.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

The scariest thing is that people are following blindly.  Many people don't even know his policies or any legislative achievements he has.  We really need to stop this personality contest and look at the issues and the candidates' records.

Senate record

Oh please. As if HC doesn't have some skeletons in her Senate closet? How about that vote to invade Iraq that she STILL stands by? How about that vote to label Iran's elite military a "terrorist organization"? (Going along with the Bush march to another war.)

This is more than a personality contest, and there are reasons some of us simply don't trust Hillary.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I have already given a considerable amount and have asked members of my family and friends to give and they did. I gave $25.00 this morning, and will continue to give.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I'm doing the same thing.  I sent a group e-mail last night to about 70 or so people and text messages to about 30 people this morning.  I'm going to make sure people know that Hillary isn't going anywhere but to the White House.  I can't wait to refer to her as Madame President.

Framing Iraq
If you want to end the war in Iraq in a responsible manner

It's not a war, It's an occupation.  We should all call it what it is, and not what the Republicans WANT us to call it.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I visited my neighborhood grocery stores, bus stops, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Diners and wherever I generally find people and told them to donate $10.44 for Hillary. They are all low income people but they are praying for Hillary.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

That's such a great idea.  That's the way the word spreads and that's really getting to the heart of Hillary's support.  So many of her supporters are hard-working men and women who are struggling to make ends meet, but they know one thing, and that's that Hillary supports their interests and will be there for them.  When the going gets tough and the big check made out to "HOPE" can't get cashed, these are the people that will suffer.  As Maxine Waters said, "They have enough hope.  They need help."  Hillary will be there to help all of us.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

Hillary is America's voice and I will do what I can to keep this campaign going.

If it means not eating enough for one day, so be it.

If it means not buying a pair of shoes for my gf, so be it. In fact, she sold some of her old furnitures and donated that money to Hillary.

We will have a quiet, non-extravagant Valentines this year. But we will have peace knowing we supported Hillary & Bill when they needed us.

Re: Hillary Money Bomb!

I wanna see 200,000 new donors on her website. Please call 5 people in your life and request them to donate. Just $10.44. It will go a long way in boosting her chances in Wisconsin where she can advertize more and she needs money to spend in Texas caucus.

is truly trying to hijack a thread. A thread set up as a donation to a particular campaign should be left alone by the other supporters. This weenee person was the first commenter and by being so, has totally ruined this diary and thread because of the responses that people made to weenee's comment.
