Good juxtaposition - what really matters shown right with the nonsense MCM keeps harping on.
I didn't get to hear it (live anyway). I hear it was YouTubed, so maybe I can find it. (But I can't play it this late!)
Good to hear Edwards did well. Of course everyone wants their favorite to do well. I always said I prefer Kucinich (he drives my spell checker nuts.), but I can handle Edwards.
Posting a diary is one thing. Within reason, I think we should be able to post whatever we want.
However, the diaries that we promote to the recommended section should have a little more elevated criteria, I think. I mean this is just a posted video from the Edwards campaign. That's all it is. Why is it recommended here? Why at Daily KOs?
What criteria is there for recomendations? Are the sites designed to recomend candidates or content?
I'm for Edwards and didn't like it. I think he needs to just stop talking about the stupid topic; just move on. Or, if he wants to pursue the "whats important?" approach, then take on the media and the campaign process head on and make clear, explicit, every day and every time he speaks, that this is a campaign for serious change and those who mock, who try to stop, and who oppose his campaign are defending the status quo.
I think the best line he's had all campaign wasn't used last night : "how much courage do you have?"
Make clear that this campaign is a fight for our future, and our country. That there are lots of people, including a lot of people in our own party, who don't want that much change and who will try to scare us, intimidate us and mock us.
We have to stand up to the them and it'll be tough, but its important.
How much courage do you have?
To me its the "you have the power" of 2008.
Great piece of jujitsu by the Edwards campaign - this is how a campaign goes after the small, pathetic little niggling negative attacks from the puny Republican brains - and put in place - not only the small minded - but their apologists in the chattering class.
This shows skill and talent - it has been a long time since we have seen this.
fantastic video from the Edwards camp. I think they turned that non issue into a good piece for their campaign, too bad they didn't do this sooner.
Check out the hit count for that video tho -- already 45,306!
