This Elitism, Arrogance, Demeaning Tactic is Costing[Updated]

This attitude that has embodied Senator Obama and his campaign is turning voters away in record amount. This style has dogged the campaign from the beginning and it seems to have only intensified as we progress on in this election. That most likely explains why Obama has not been able to secure the nomination from his early surge.
The reason I'm sure the Obama campaign set out to call for an end to the election early. There was no way he could win the nomination the longer he had to campaign for it.
This style doesn't just seem to be coming from the campaign itself, it is the attitude steeped in many supporters. And because his surrogates, media and bloggers seem to run with the campaign talking points and style, this is what the rest of America is coming to realize Obama for.
It's no longer chance comments, or isolated circumstances that causes Senator Obama and his wife to show this attitude. Everyone speaking on their behalf shows this same attitude, one that is not admiring or a quality you would normally expect someone to copy. More reason to worry that this attitude is growing and becoming an accepted, even admired quality to prevail.
Did the Obama Campaign not pay attention to the tired, divisive, hateful and arrogance the American peoople grew weary with from these past 7 years of the Bush administration? Obviious that Bush's claims of "compassion" and "uniting" were nothing but empty words, in turn receiving something they don't care to continue for 4 more years. You can't put the same playbook in a new cover and say this is change.
And, it's not restricted to our mainland. This infection is spreading.
Even while Senator Obama tries to give the illusion to continue campaigning for the nomination, making token visits in the most recent and upcoming Primaries, relying on money to pay for tv ads and marketing instead. He is asking people, like Puerto Rico, to still vote for him in public, while belittling their importance and questioning their right to vote. We heard the talking points be handed down heavy last week as all eyes turned to Puerto Rico's upcoming election.
Indeed, some of Mr Obama's supporters, if not his campaign, say it is wrong to include Puerto Rico in tallies of the Democratic popular vote. But Roberto Prats, the chairman of Puerto Rico's Democratic Party and himself a leading Clinton backer, said yesterday such people "need to be educated".
What arrogance. Ask Puerto Ricans to vote for you, but try to deny them their voice. What kind of Democracy does Senator Obama believe in? It's ok for Puerto Ricans to pay taxes and fight our wars-disproportionatey I might add. In person you tell them you want to represent them and you know their concerns, but because you aren't favored in polling, belittle their importance and even question their right the right for their vote to count?
There is a very sound and real reason Senator Obama is losing support the longer he is seen and heard.
It feels like the real Senator Obama is nothing at all what his speech writers and marketing crew have tried to create. If he's not standing with a prewritten words in front of teleprompters giving Ra Ra speeches that have nothing to do with what he will actually do in the job he is competing for, he is leaving little to want as the next Commander in Chief.
Is he for real? Would he actually be so steeped in himself that he would allow something like this to be aired?
Obama, who has far more money than Clinton, launched his television ads last Saturday. They use a Spanish voiceover and show Obama speaking English with Spanish subtitles. The ad says Obama grew up on an island and in a family with few resources so he understands the concerns of Puerto Rican families.
I surely hope Puerto Ricans rise in numbers and loudly state, THEY DO MATTER and seal the deal for the person who cares, who is there for them and who will win and give the GOOD change our country so needs and elect Hillary Clinton. Then the message will be clear and the Democrats can nominate Hillary, the leader in votes to carry them to a win in November.
