Looks like one (Iran) is nearly down, one more to go (Syria)...

As Paul Craig Roberts warns, <Americans need desperately to comprehend that if Bush attacks Iran and Syria, as he intends, terrorism will explode, and American civil liberties will disappear into a 30-year war that will bankrupt the United States.> http://www.creators.com/opinion_show.cfm ?columnsName=pcr

Are we just too far gone, at this point, to even consider that its not going to happen?  http://www.informationclearinghouse.info /article11746.htm

Us and what army?

Looks like one (Iran) is nearly down, one more to go (Syria)...

You left out the other part of the "Axis of E-vile", North Korea.

Can anyone in the world take us seriously anymore? What army do we have to take them out?

Even dubya isn't stupid enough to use our strategic resources (okay, maybe I should rephrase that). Besides, a few countries which are down wind - like Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and China - might get a bit touchy about that particular "regime change" technique.

Look, they all know the bind we're in. Their rhetoric is escalating because they know we can't do a damn thing about anything they do. And dubya escalates the rhetoric because he's dug himself into a hole and he doesn't know how to stop digging.

Read Roberts

For the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury under Reagan, and an editor at the Wall Street Journal to write this, to believe this, makes me shiver in me shoes.

We have to realize that there are no limits any longer.  Every limit has already been exceeded and half of the country is completely clueless.

There is only one industry left in America.  War.
