Damn, I guess they make Dems different in Texas.
Remember when we discovered that Martin Frost had run adds touting his closeness with Bush?
They sure do make 'em different down there.
Full Disclosure: 85% of my family lives in Texas.
I was beginning to wonder why the city wasn't flat out rioting. Not because I support that kind of action. It was just disturbing to me because when Rodney King got beat down LA was in riots. at the 1968 democratic convention the streets were in uprising. It was the most likely response and that didn't happen. I find that disturbing. It tells me that we're not shocked by that kind of brutality anymore. It tells me that we're a repressed people. It tells me that propaganda is working.
Good thing it didn't have to come to that.
