Don't doubt it. I had 1994 Ford Ranger and put 300k miles on it.
My point is the monkey management of the Big 3 have made a miserable mess out of their companies. They will get their multi-million dollar parachutes and the unions members will face financial ruin.
Why? Because the management of the Big 3 ain't worth spit. I don't care how much money the Congress gives the Big 3, they do not have the intellectual capacity to fix the situation.
But my experience at the Saturn dealer is truthful. I might add that the broken door is not a problem with Union manufacturing, but of materials engineering and material selection. The plastic was too soft and too thin to hold up.
Totally agree with you. The biggest challenge for the strip is that it does better with small local newsweeklies that are trendy and hip (and feature band schedules and such). Yes! Weekly was the first paper to Carry TCD.
The San Francisco Chronicle really screwed up last year and picked up ONE of my strips about Mitt Romney and the Iraq war. At least someone over there was willing to take a chance.
On the other hand, if Doonesbury came out today, it too would be rejected for its content. Strips like these, especially comical editorials, once they get their foot in ONE door, others quickly open.
More progressive strips need to be in the nation's papers and the only way to get that done these days is via a grass roots campaign to get them syndicated.
You are right. The hard work the Obama campaign has done will pay off. Looking back, I doubt any network would have shown Obama's speech in front of the Corn Palace this past weekend if it weren't for Hillary. Although they may have reported on the Iraq war, but I seriously doubt that.
I can't imagine McCain can go more negative than Hillary has, but I am sure he and his minions will try.

I gave up tact after my brother served two tours.

Actually, that sounds like a lot of fun!
Can I wear my space boots?
F on Market which is actually a streetcar. It was 1057, the yellow one.
I rode it again today, just to reclaim the area. Actually, it was the next MUNI and my feet hurt!
I agree.
I rode the same bus today, just to move on.
That is funny!
Oh, and just a flat-out stupid thing to say.

But above all, thanks for reading.

But in the end, I am glad it is over.
