since her Iraq exit plan speech that includes a ban on private armies. She laid out a clear and detailed exit plan and she then got Murtha's endorsement. Those retired professionals, military, diplomatic that back her clearly want us all the way out of there, not just troops but our business 'interests.' this is clearly necessary to allow diplomacy to work in getting the international community involved. No one wants to bail us out with us in charge and we keep the spoils of war. We need to get out and allow other interested parties to get a stake in the success of Iraq.  I"d guess she'll go up more and more as the brilliance and audacity of her Iraq exit plan sinks in with more of the anti-war public.  NOt just out of there, all the way out with Hilary!!

The news cycle will change.  But it might get better or worse for Obama.  We don't know.

That poll was released yesterday. Gallup releases its newest tracking poll around 3PM every day.  Evidently Monday and Tuesday were especially good for Clinton.  In today's poll, we'll see what the Wednesday sample looked like.

I don't think you are right. When the Supers see how the momentum is shifting to HC and she is winning these last remaining states and well as ahead in the polls, then it will be lights out for Obama. You are putting too much emphasis into the Fl and MI contests, which ultimately will be decided before the convention, or otherwise will be fought on on the convention floor. The trip to Michigan by HC was a smart move and is going to put pressure on Obama campaign when voters and supers realize how he is trying to dis-enfranchise the vote of these two important states. The Fl and MI process is far from dead, like Obama people would wish for you to believe.

In the 80's, the Liberal base of the party exclusively picked Mondale & Dukakis. Both times, Liberals truly believed that we could win. While the rest of the party & the country knew that we would get are ass kicked. We lost both races in a landslide fashion.

With Obama 2008, we are in an almost identical situation. Two Liberal blocks are IGNORING the rest of us. A majority of White Progressives & majority of African-Americans are going all out for Obama.

While the rest of us see imminent disaster. I am  resigned that no matter how we explain reality, these two groups are bent on making history in the nomination regardless of the general election outcome.

i think she recognizes she needs a blowout. if she wins PA it's one thing. if she wins with 58-62% of the vote, heads will be turned.

Listen...were not interested in a math lesson and are tired of hearing that. Bottom line is that a win in that all important state will again demonstrate that HC can carry the states that are necessary to win a general election, something that Obama hasn't proven that he can do and won't be able to do in the general.

As far as North Carolina is concerned she is now tied with him in latest polling and has sent her campaign guru, Ace Smith to lead the charge there. He is the guy who helped her win in California and Texas, so a smart move there.

She is leading in the Indiana and Kentucky contests and is campaigning today in Indiana with Evan Bayh, the popular Senator and former Governor of that state.  She plans to campaign in NC next week. So there you are. Everything is going her way.

Public opinion doesn't work that way. Also most of the poll data was collected before the speech.

ABC nightly news last evening was reporting on that speech and they indicated that the only folks that fainted over the speech were those who already support him. The speech got very mixed reviews and many are questioning his motive for even addressing this, some even called it a sermon.

They were more pissed-off than anything. It was a negative reaction.

While we had liberal whites who are supporting Obama having tears in their eyes.

There is such a HUGE disconnect that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to bridge by November.

If Clinton starts winning by 15-25 pts in states like PA,IN,WV,KY,PR & 5-10pts in NC-
this could really put so much pressure on Super Delegates!

All these states have millions of reagan democrats. The same democrats who will decide the winner in November.

Obama is in deep trouble and Clinton is handling it masterfully. Obama is not electable and supers are now seeing the light of day with him

You are likely referring to Bernadette Dohrn and William Ayers, the still unrepentant Weather Underground bombers. His connection with them is yet another nail in his coffin. The Weather Underground folks only regret not bombing more targets before being apprehended, and still make statements to that effect. At another time they would likely be dismissed as relics of the 60's, but times have changed in the public attitude toward terrorist bombings. Their bombings do not add a thing to Obama's electability, and with the timing not in his favor, outing his political  alliance with them in Chicago may further erode his support in the polls. So many people are now asking, "What else do we not know about Obama?" and the Weather Underground will come as yet another unwanted answer to that question.
