I think the full quote is more damning. It clearly shows that "we are here" only because Joe's actions, not because of what voters should or should not have thought about during the primary.  That tells me it is punishment for not paying attention to his threat.  He is worse than you make him out, as he meant to be threatening AND he means to punish.  It is a specific cause and effect that he puts the cause for his actions on someone else.... even though he has total control.   makes sense that he is supported by the GOP.

oh, also, I recent study showed that people who were prayed for actually had a worse recovery than people who did not get any prayers.  You might just recommend that people live each day with purpose and VOTE in Nov!!!

I would hope they have that 89 year old person retake the license exam and pass the physical before being reissued a license.

I am just amazed that they would use the words "likely" and "unlikely" instead of stating what should be a fact,,, that the winner of the party primary who plays by the rules and wins the election is the one to be supported.

I won't give any more to the DSCC unless they issue a statement that says to Lieberman, you have to choose... Democratic Primary to run as a Democrat, or Independent run.  Period.

I live in Illinois and don't know the local issues or the history - so good luck to the voters. On a national level, however, it does seem to me that Lieberman isn't someone I would want representing what a Democrat stands for. Why not just choose a Republican for those ideas?

Great Post.  It really is that simple.. Do you trust experts and scientists and become educated on a certain subject or do you follow along with what a proven political hack thinks?

I guess I might think differently if we didn't already have too much proof of the Bush Adminstration's incompetence and desire to purposely mislead for political and personal gain.

I don't know if this is still true, or to what extent... but when I lived in New York City, New Jersey did not have a sales tax on many items that are taxed in NY.  Before people can talk about the merits of Corzine's sales tax proposal, one should know how the state ranks nationally in terms of sales, property, and income taxes and in relation to benefits given and/or fees charged.

It isn't just one issue.  From what I have read, his proposal seems the most straightforward, easiest to implement and able to judge its effectiveness compared to the other patches and temporary political ideas being proposed.
