Speaker of the House Ever. If only Harry Reid was half as good as Nancy, we would have the Medicare for all already. But he isn't, so we have to settle for one step closer to total victory.  As Of today Health Care is consider a right and no longer a Privilege. So now starts the battle to make sure each and every citizen of the US gets the Health Care that is their birth right.

are the nuclear future and don't use uranium and solve the waste problem.

  • There is 4 times as much Thorium on the planet as Uranium
  • The United States has 1000 years worth of Thorium
  • Thorium energy generation will recycle and eliminate nuclear waste
  • The U.S. has built Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors before
  • A Thorium generator, such as a LiFTeR type, can be developed in a few years
  • Thorium creates less than 1% of the waste of Uranium Power
  • A Thorium power plant needs no pressure vessel or containment building
  • The cost per Megawatt would be less than 2 million dollars
  • You can not use Thorium to make Nuclear Weapons - it is non-proliferating

  • we agree.

  • is no way to rid ourselves of coal.

    BTW

Every USA coal power plant operating today emits more radiation than any USA nuclear power plant ever has including three mile island.

and my confidence in Obama has been renewed since the State of the Union. I am smart enough to know I can't get everything I want, but I want a leader who fight for us and this latest version of Obama is a fighting leader.

I just hope he keeps it up and gives the Senate Democrats hell on Wednesday.

maybe just maybe President Obama learned his lesson during his first year.  And now is ready to take the fight to the Republicans, so he can get some of his actions items passed into law.

    Just a thought.

Obama can be a Great President. However, I reserve the right to hold his feet to the fire.

I was going to list a whole bunch of action items, but your post says it better than I ever could have. President Obama has the skills to change what has been pragmatically possible since Reagan, but so far he has refused to do so.

In times of trouble Great Presidents change the course of history.

While Obama has promised change, he has only reinforced the status quo so far. This is not the stuff of Great Presidents.

I voted for Obama in the Primary and in the General and I thanked god Obama won the Election. But I am disappointed in Obama's Job Performance so far.

    Why?

Because I believe he can be a Great President during a period of our history which we need a Great President.

Let's face it so far Obama has been average at best, but I still believe Obama can be Great, so I am demanding him to be Great. Better than Bush or McCain is not good enough at this moment of our history.
