And this is a midterm election campaign, where most of the time the opposition behaves badly and gets punished with a trip to Disney World.

I used to come here all the time until they started going off the deep end with the negativity (hence the user name).

Actually, it shows thathompphobiz has been discredited as a public policy issue I'm unsympathiethic to the LGBT lifestyle, but thsi tells me that trying to impede that lifestyle thourgh the legal and political systems is (like just about every other effort to legislate morality) next to impossible.

But if you  think the actions of individual Republicans or a group of Republcians who are somewhat estranged from the party in general is a sign that your party doesn't care about LGBT issues, then maybe you should study some history for a c hange.

As for '16, you'll probably get hammered by a more traditional Republican who will turn out to be a Carter-like misfit and that in turn will lead to a blowout in the other direction by 2024.
