For sticking with the Democratic Presidential candidate in every election from 1976 forward....the only state to do so!!!!

I don't blame Arnold. The folks that heckled him were acting like jackasses...same thing we criticize the tea baggers for...

Plus I have to admit I think it's pretty funny!

Show me someone who switched parties who wasn't doing it for political reasons...and who wasn't more loyal to the party they were a part of...

Specter is no different...except he was not averse to bucking his party on many issues...

Fact is...as a Democrat, Arlen Specter has done a very good job...more than enough in my opinion to earn reelection.

He has done a good job since swicthing sides. Does no good to encourage folks to switch and then wail away on them once they do...i'd like to encourage more to switch but I doubt many will if they are gonna immediately be assaulted for what they did as a Republican...

As a Democrat, he has supported the party on the vast majority of issues, did a nice job defending Sotomayor, has handled the health care issue well, and is strong for a public option...

And announce their opposition...

Kucinich will then announce it doesn't go far enough so won't support it...

Finally Pelosi will cancel the vote because "we want to looks ahead, not back"

Than Moran and a good chunk of his supporters...both during the campaign and since the results came in last night....

Unfortunately your post-mortem is a good example...

Or in simpler terms, if your candidate does it it isn't negative...guess it applies to politicians as well as bloggers...

Funny I don't recall any outrage from you when Moran went negative...

Right wing attacks will stink for a minute, and be forgotten in minutes...

I understand that it is not helping Moran...whose negatives I suspect are rising...at least from what I am seeing here...

I am not a believer in putting too much stock in anecdotal evidence, but I have talked to dems here in ffx who have abandonded Moran in the last couple of weeks over his campaign tactics...most were going to Deeds but others giving McAuliffe a look.

People really do not want to relive the Prez primary, and are not paticularly interested in dems attacking each other.

Boy you really can spin bad news...

Moran has shown none, zero, doughnut, zilch, nada, movement in the last 2 weeks...

McAuliffe drops a statistically insignificant 1 point....

Fact is, Deeds is gaining, Moran is stagnant, and McAuliffe is holding at his higher level of support...

My guess is it will be McAuliffe, Deeds and Moran in that order...

And if you seriously thinks Morans moronic attacks on McAuliffe are going to help him you are misreading  the situation here...

MOran has run some very desperate ads attacking McAuliffe's support of Hillary in the primary...

Gettihg alot of negative reaction

If he produces more ads like the ones he has so far his numbers are more likely to go down...not up...

Will be interesting to see how Moran's faintly desperate and mostly inaccurate ads attacking McAuliffe for supporting Hillary in the primary will affect the polls...

My guess is they will help McAuliffe...

His polling must look pretty bad. I have to say it is an interesting strategy - dredging up the primary wars after the principles have kissed and made up (who is SoS again)...

What is the message of that ad...? All of you who voted for Hillary in the primary...well you are quite as good a Democrat as the rest of us...?

Seems like a loser to me...wouldn't surprise me to see McAuliffe pull away to a more comfortable win here...he has my vote at any rate...Moran has turned a tough choice into an easy one...
