Washington caucus

My notes on my Washington caucus experience:

I live in Kirkland, an eastside Seattle suburb. This is congressional district 1 (Inslee), but pretty close to district 8 (Reichert, hopefully soon to be Burner). Turnout appeared to be about double what it was in 2004, which itself was a record year. Six precincts crowded into an elementary school gymnasium, standing room only and they were worried about running out of signin sheets. LOTS of Obama buttons in my precinct, about a third of the people there had them, and I didn't see a single Hillary button (though I'm sure there were Hillary supporters there). Unfortunately I had to leave after I signed in with my presidential preference, so I couldn't stay around for the final numbers or delegate selection.

Well, I'm very sorry for wasting your time, then. I did what I could and thought some people might be interested in the anecdote.

Don't mind lori

she's just pissed because Hillary hasn't won the nomination.
