Todd, thanks for a great recap of Hillary's rally in LA. I really enjoyed reading it and watching the videos.
Hillary is fighting against so many barriers right now and she just keeps on going. I believe she will beat "The Great Swami Obama Of The Empty Suit" and I look forward to him returning to the Senate; just as I look forward to Senator Ted Kennedy skulking in embarrassment every time he is in proximity to President Hillary Clinton.
I won't miss Obama when Hillary finally hands him his ass. She will be President. Obama will be back in the Senate. And Ted Kennedy can analyze how much damage he created between himself and our new lady President.
Congratulations to Hillary on a stunning victory in Florida, where so many voters who HAD to be feeling pretty damned insignificant, got themselves to their polling stations and delivered a message to the country - WE WANT HILLARY.
So it appears Chris Matthews didn't like having his ass handed to him last night. He's a fucking mental midget and one of the most pathetic human beings on television today.
I really think this diary underlines the nervousness many of us have about Barack Obama. I don't dislike him. He's impressive in some ways. But he has gone into a realm of his own that bears no edges; no willingness to really fight and he never, to my knowledge, been willing to identify the enemy that must be defeated. Those are harsh words - enemy and defeated. But we cannot afford to forget them. The GOP hopes we will have the same kind of blind faith that Obama seems to have and they will then proceed to take him down.
My my, what a lovely Christmas gift for Hillary Clinton. God knows she deserves a break.
I am very happy with the commentary accompanying this major endorsement. They really see Hillary as her supporter so ... informed, capable, wise and, most importantly ... ready.
Hillary has many prominent endorsers (Vilsack, Shaheen, Albright, Wes Clark, Robt. F. Kennedy Jr., Joe Wilson, and many others. They are all
campaigning for Hillary now in both Iowa and NH and their involvement over the next two weeks will be intense. Obama's drug use in the past; his "present" votes in the Senate; his healthcare plan; his ultra-liberal voting record and other issues will be discussed at every opportunity by Hillary's big supporters and this will create headlines (just look at the headlines about Obama today, alone).
Hillary must alter perceptions about Obama and that means informing voters of all his weaknesses. I only wish she had done it sooner.
Considering all the crap Hillary has been subjected to over the past few weeks, most of it generated by the media, and considering the huge star power of Oprah, I'd say Hillary is doing extremely well. She is still seen as the leader when it comes to those specific important issues.

I am very worried about the Democratic Party. Barack Obama is running on so many lies and nobody cares. This should also be a dairy on kos. Anyone?

Wow. What an articulate and detailed endorsement. Fabulous.
The Bobby Wing of the Kennedy Family. How I loved Bobby Kennedy.

Obama would pick Lieberman, his mentor.
