We've won control of the House and the Senate, but now we're going to start fighting with each other. I can't personally think of a worse way to begin the Democratic control of Congress.
We've already seen on this site attacks against Rahm Emanuel and the idea that "conservative" Democrats really won this election. And at least blog associated with the DLC is expressing self-proclaimed schadenfreude at the defeat of the "nutroots" in Connecticut.
This intraparty arguing is counterproductive and stupid. The question should not be what sort of Democrats won this election, but rather whether the apparent divisions reflect actual policy differences.
