It's time to take down the corporate wing of the Democratic Party. I hope Donna wins. Unfortunately it's tough to win these races when we have competitive presidential primaries like this. I think Pera and Edwards were banking on the presidential race being finished. She was able to do so well in 2006 because of turning out her supporters. This year there will be a lot of low-information voters, but she's also more known so I hope it's enough.
Pera on the other hand really never had a chance with the presidential race going on. I hope he or someone else will try that district again in 2010 when we have a congressional election only.
The way the Hillary camp is explaining it, it sounds like she was fired. On CNN, the reporter said staff in the campaign were getting tired of Doyle and blaimed many of the failures of communication and wasted money on her.
They should have fired Penn though, that's their problem.
