This would not be the first time to have a public roll call.

If you keep up that attitude, then frankly yes, I would rather see the Democratic Party destroyed.

I wouldn't call it hopelessly behind when there are more votes left than the difference between them. Why should she quit? Who knows what's going to happen between now and August (I'm not talking about the assassination crap).

Sexism is not the only reason, but it's definitely there. However, even without the sexism, one cannot deny the blatant bias in media coverage between the two candidates.

Frankly, I think the damage has already been done. Even as a male, I'm completely disgusted with both the media and the Democratic Party for blatant sexism and double standards throughout this campaign. I've contemplated sitting out in November if Hillary is not the nominee, but now I actually want to see the Democrats lose in November. I'm angry about the process and I think the party deserve to lose.

Keep up the good work. You have just made Mccain an even more attractive option for me in November. You are not helping Obama by trying to force a viable candidate from dropping out of a competitive race.

What is pathetic is declaring victory before all voters have had a chance to cast their ballot.

Thanks for keeping the story alive. It doesn't really matter if Wright is somehow connected to Hillary. The more we hear about him in the media, the more racially polarized this primary is going to be become. It's Obama that this story is going to affect the most.

This is interesting. I guess any time a successful woman marries someone equally or more successful, then all of her accomplishments become somehow tied to the marriage. That's exactly the not-so-subtle sexism that's prevalent today and that her nomination would combat. Why is it that people are more talking about her role in and contribution to Bill's success?

  • comment on a post She doesn't care how. She wants the nomination NOW! over 4 years ago

This is funny. Half of the Democrats want Hillary to be the nominee and yet people like you continue to perpetuate the myth that she is somehow damaging the party. Why don't you tell Obama to drop out the race for a change?

Many states have not even had a chance to vote yet.

And BTW, why don't you tell me a plausible scenario where Obama can win the 2024 delegates needed for nomination?

but who are they sampling? It's simply meaningless.

  • Personally, I'm not a huge fan of a single payer system because I believe in choice. People should be able to pick a plan that best suits their needs. As a health care provider, I have seen the care that people get with Medicare, Medicaid and the VA system. I would not want to have that level of care myself.

However, if we believe that everyone should and deserves health care, then the only way to achieve it is through mandate. How can Obama claim that his plan provides Universal coverage when it leaves out 15 million people?

How would you feel if social security does not have a mandate and people can choose to contribute whenever they want?

  • What exactly makes you think that Obama's plan will be any cheaper? In fact, by insuring only sicker people (with younger, healthier population opting out), it will be even more expensive and therefore further away from achieving true universal health care.

Are there any events in Baltimore? I just moved here recently and would love to help out in any way I can before the primary on Tuesday.

  • How many world leaders has Laura met? What policies has she tried to push through? To say that they have the same experience, you are either being disingenous or ignorant.

As an side, do people not learn as an observer? Frankly, I think one of her best qualifications is the fact that she was a first-hand observer of the role she is about to assume.

  • You can't deny the fact that Iowa has never elected a woman to a statewide office in history. Are women somehow less capable in Iowa than they are in the rest of this country? or is there something else at play?

  • Oh, please...

Obama has been making "desperate and angry attacks" at Clinton for some times now.
