According to Black Box voting there were more than 3500 primary votes in Memphis than voter signatures and predominately the absent physical voters are in Republican majority districts...Maybe Democratic voters are being disappeared before they vote Republican.

 If a person wants to be rich, i.e. acquire more money than a person needs to live a very comfortable life and support, protect and nurture their family,

than they are not paying attention to the rest of the HUman Race.  Americans have an ungodly share of the world's wealth.  Rich Americans share less than poor Americans even in their own country!

I am dammed tired of the aspiration to be rich!  I am proud to say I want to be comfortable—not rich.

We know the names of wealthy people who profess to be philanthropic but do we know the name Fred Shuttlesworth, Marian Wright Edelman, Anne Braden, Bill Bigelow, Leonora Barry, Henry George...?

Whose property rights?  Oh, just corporate private rights... imminent corporate domain.

How about the property rights of the poor people who were squeezed out of their historic family plots by intimidation and the danger of encroaching adjacent mining.  

When will rich people like Whitman lose their over-sized, over-blown egos and actually use their money for the  common good?   

Someone should work up a chart of how that $99 million could have been used for California's benefit. 

No, I haven't seen it but it is a real scene, I'm sure.  No matter what any one says, we don't have only the best and the brightest in the military.  We wouldn't be fighting criminal wars with criminal acts if they were.

We are, though, a military state.  

The best way to get DADT done is to reinstate the draft. Gay men and women who cannot legally serve now would be exempt. It will pass then.

How many other young republicans are out playing and filming for Rovian accolades?   There's going to be a lot of muffled meetings on busy streets now.

I suspect that the Representative Parker just saw more money on the side and wants some while the getting is good.  While the total funds contributed to the Republican party are considerable less than the Democratic party, individual Republicans can stand out from the crowd: a new convert will be noticed, he hopes, while a newly elected recalcitrate and disloyal Democratic has poor pickings.

Neither will we...but then now we have nothing to give except energy and we don't yet know where to put that so it won't be wasted or abused after the election.  Any extra money, food or time will be spent with friends and neighbors with less than us, not politicians.

Yea! Let's move on to: Halliburton spoils placed in a "blind" trust during a certain elected officials term in office...  Or the Carlyle (sp) Group folk. .. or Diane Feinstein's marital share of war riches...etc.
