Women can be tougher on women than men. Some just don't think the country will elect a female president. Obama's got a similar problem. Some blacks are reluctant to support him because they believe that America would never elect a black president.
Good hires... But the Edwards campaign has been doing some staff shuffling of late and given the fundraising #s and lack of pop in his campaign for much of Q2, it's not surprising that people would call it a campaign shakeup.
It's just what happens to other candidates all the time.
I wouldn't worry about the campaign shakeup meme if I were a committed JRE supporter. John McCain's campaign shakeup was a major shakeup, making this look like nothing.
That's not to say I don't have some of the same criticisms of Obama's campaign as the Todd B. does, but the problem with part of your post is that he's simply not as well known in IA or NH (let alone the rest of the country) as HRC or JRE.
Yeah, but this doesn't remind me of the positives about JFK or RFK.
It reminds me of the fact that both JFK and RFK were assassinated.
Maybe it's just because one of my old professors used the JFK painting that the Obama sketch reminds me of, to discuss how the enduring fascination with JFK is partly a result of how the country had so much hope entering the 1960s and saw much of it turn into turmoil (including the assassination of JFK & RFK).
