maybe offhand, one shouldn't assume that Lieberman and Dodd have that much of cordial relationship.

Dodd supported Lamont after the primary...and Lieberman never forgave him.

This might be a good time for Senator Dodd to make his move to replace Harry Reid.

I am serious, if you couldn't count on Lieberman to vote with the Democrats on cloture, what possible use is he?

The Margin of Error on all these polls is so high...

plus their ability to identify likely voters is so iffy...

that when one takes into account that between 10% and 20% of Democrats go to the caucus,

If he was a Democrat, he wouldn't have to be closeted....and resort to repressed and inappropriate behavior in public restrooms...because the party he belongs to doesn't need to pander to homophobes and sex police.

One can never know because his bungling was so monumental that the fact any Democrat considered voting for Thomas can be laid at Biden's door.  This incompetence has been throughly recounted in Capitol Games and Strange Justice.  And it should be taken into account as part of his legacy of moral cowardice and a failure of leadership.  It turned out that Biden personally had been informed Thomas' problems with regard to a pattern of sexual harrassment long before Hill testified.  And his failure to protect Hill is his badge of shame.  

Changing the subject with regard to Biden's role in ramming through the Bankruptcy Bill is spin.  Whether or not he was a cosponsor is irrelevant, because he did block any amendments which didn't reflect the interests those financial institutions which to which he more allegance than he does to the people whose suffering he can now have to live with.  

I am very sorry to see that Biden's supporters are so tone deaf in this regard.  

Biden isn't a serious candidate.  He is just amusing himself by playing one on pundit TV.  

Thanks to Joe Biden, we have Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court.  His bungling of that nomination is a price we will be paying for years to come.  

However the revisionism from his apologists, especially on the Bankruptcy Bill, including a dishonest discounting on his influence in pushing it thru goes beyond spin.

Biden is the consummate beltway denizen who has absolutely no idea what is going on in this country, and he has been out of touch for decades.

His last hurrah couldn't come too soon.

What the Clinton people say in private and what they are expecting are two different things.

But the beauty of this show is that it offers simple steps, when represent no serious hardship..but can make a big difference when acted on by millions of people.

Young people, especially are very caught up in this movement...and I think that by being cynical about other people's ability to change is unhelpful.  

And assuming that other people aren't willing to make changes...especially once they know what is at stake is leap I am not prepared to make.

Change is hard for some people, just don't assume that everyone is as unmotivated as you project them to be.

Geffen was a guest at the Clinton White House.  He did sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom.

And bundled lots of Hollywood money.

And compared to most big deal donors, his money didn't come with that man quid pro quos.

But with the Clinton's, it is always "what have you done for me lately."

Obama was talking about the stupidity of alienating potential donors.  

Which Hillary is doing with gusto and verve.

This is exactly what he has been saying for months.

However, he could remove all doubt if he as he did in 2004 say:

"I will not run for president. Period.  Full stop."

This is by no means a Shermanesque statement.

Additionally, there was no attempt to stop the Draft Gore meeting in Boston.
