Don't count on Ramsey county. The election officials here (in Ramsey) are refusing to even count how many wrongly rejected absentees they have, saying that they need a court order to do so, even though many other counties are already doing it. Never underestimate some random office holder's petulance.
I won't bash you Jerome, I will just note that that is a ridiculous redistribution of the undecided vote by Tarrance, the Republican here. A 60-40 pro-McCain split I could see, but an 80-20? No freaking way.
That way, even if someone's LV model is off, like R2K's may be, you can still see if something is going on. Almost everyone has Obama improving over the past week or so and now holding steady, which I take to be pretty good news at this point.
That's pathetic. But unless I'm mistaken, WI has same-day registration, so hopefully that will combat the problem a bit. Thank goodness Minnesota's AG is now a Dem.
Whoa there. Your suggested maps has all the eggs in one basket again. It would be Ohio or bust all over again. NH and NM would be completely irrelevant if Obama wins Ohio and Iowa -- that would be 270. This is NOT going to be a 2004 repeat. At the very least, a very aggressive effort should still be put into Colorado and Virginia. Unless we really think that $200 million or whatever Obama is raising should all go into Ohio?
Bingo. This is NOT a response to a McCain attack, like trying to paint McCain as a political celebrity was. It's a direct assault at McCain's lying about his record. About time!
Good Lord, this woman is a complete disaster and cannot be allowed anywhere NEAR the White House after the last 8 years. I've given to Obama 4 times now and apparently I'm going to have to again.
Hit him for the flip-flopping, Bill! If Obama's smart maybe what he'd really insist in this case is that Richardson just shut the hell up. I really don't think it's possible to prevent this guy from saying stupid things.

I don't think the poor/less educated thing matters in this case. Only absentee ballots filled out 100% in compliance with the law will be counted.
What DOES matter is that absentee voters were significantly more Dem than day-of voters, in Minnesota and just about everywhere.

I'm going with SUSA.

I would be ok with it if it did come to that. Would mean the Electoral College burned both parties in 8 years. Maybe then we could get rid of it.

If voters really prefer the latter than we will always lose. If that's who the American electorate is, they deserve Republicans.

is for "please God, don't let it be Bayh." Since two choices offer that, I am torn.

It's sentiment like this that is going to carry us to victory in November.
This could be an interesting strategy to try to appeal to the remaining superdelegates.
