Will Whites Riot if Obama is Wins?

I'm sick and tired of hearing people ask, "What will Blacks do if Barack Obama loses? According to polls, he is as likely to win as is George W. Bush's replacement, and the utter discombobulation of Wall Street cannot be helping the Party in power.

So, let's ask ourselves a much more interesting question: What will white Republicans and color aroused people do if Barack Obama WINS:

I think the answer is pretty straightforward. If after all of their efforts to take Black names off the voting rolls, prevent us from voting by requiring I.D., and tip the scales with election fraud on election day, Barack Obama comes out in front anyway,

Then, Republicans and the white color-aroused will riot in the streets in front of the Elections Clerks offices (as they did in 2000, against a white Democratic presidential candidate), demanding recounts, demanding that votes not be counted, demanding that votes from the overseas military be counted twice . . . even if they were submitted after Election Day.

If Obama doesn't call his supporters out into the streets to confront the Republicans, then the US Supreme Court will once again feel free to call the election for the Republican candidate, perhaps even before the polls have been closed in all precincts.

People get ready cause a train's a comin'. I only wish I could tell you what train it is.

On the contrary, there's a reason for the zero-rate. Use it on trolls like this. We hide hatefulness because it reflects badly on the site. Otherwise they don't learn the lesson.

But some learn the lesson that they can make really awful remarks that piss a lot of people off because they'll only be hide-rated. Things they'd never say even with the anonymity of an internet screen name if they intended to use it.

Francis, francis. You couldn't even proofread the title of your diary.

As salon's article last week showed, there are some racist white Democratic party voters who will not vote for Obama. Still, do you put out diaries just to provoke a reaction? If republicans win, and dirty tricks are involved, I doubt race will be a major factor in it. It is the way Republicans have done things regardless of the color of the Democrat.

This race-baiting weirdness is not helpful in my opinion. I don't think calling attention to what people will do if one "color" wins over the other is what this should be about. This only feeds into the paranoia of one group over another. I don't like it. I think it's a losing strategy. Win on issues-not identity or RACE politics. Believe me, this is NOT a winning strategy for Obama- especially in the swing states that we MUST win.

Plus, that being said, it's pretty gross. Whites can vote for Obama OR McCain. The same goes for AA's. This is 2008, not 1958......

Uhm no. No riots.

The rightwing will do what they would do to any Democrat. Throw stones and try to sabotage his or her Presidency from day one.

The question I see is what happens with the media if Obama wins. Can they really carry out a 4 to 8 year love affair with Obama or at some point to they snap out of their trance and start to cover him like any other President?

The right-wing doesn't riot, they murder people in cold blood. The Unabomber. Timothy McVeigh. Eric Rudolph. The abortion clinic bombings. The shootings in Tennessee. Columbine. Virginia Tech. ALL.... ALL.... of these murders were done in the name of hatred of liberals. Who has been assassinated in this country since 1960 for political reasons? Which figures? JFK, Malcolm X, MLK, RFK, to name a few. ALL liberals.

Please understand the truth. Conservatives are the ones that kill. Conservatives are the ones that relish in death. That is just how things are.

If Obama wins, there won't be riots, but there will almost certainly be murders.

This diary implies that there are lots of people asking what blacks will do if Obama loses. It also tries to suggest that whites might riot if Obama wins. I live in a Southern state, and I haven't heard anyone ask these kind of questions. Most of us are too busy trying to keep our jobs and homes. I get the impression this diary is playing the race issue, but I'm not saying the diarist necessarily had that intent.
