Obama in TX doing something very BAD

If Obama will not stop this shit he has to drop out of race and resign from Senate:

I will just copy/paste, this worst than Karl Rove thing in FLorida 2000:

Texas Battle Heats Up: Clinton Camp Allleges Obama Caucusers Locking Out Hillary Backers
By Greg Sargent - March 4, 2008, 8:56PM
The Hillary campaign just held an "emergency" conference call in which they made a sharp allegation: They say that Obama officials in Texas are "locking out" Hillary supporters from participating in the caucuses.

The tone is strikingly urgent on the call, with Hillary campaign lawyer Lyn Utrect saying that "the Obama people have managed to take control over the precinct conferences and shut doors when people in line were supposed to be allowed in to participate."

In a sign of just how tense the battle in Texas has become, an Obama lawyer, Bob Bauer, crashed the call, and battled it out pretty aggressively with Hillary spokesperson Howard Wolfson for several minutes.

Wolfson, separately, sought to confer added urgency by noting that this was the first time that such a call had been convened by the Clinton campaign. More in a bit.

Accusation and spin

Um isn't this what the Clinton Campaign was accused of in Nevada?

Thank you!

That's quite a compliment!

Then

you would be a fool for thinking it is a good thing and that was a compliment.

I was joking

Re: you know what are you doing? YOU ARE DIVIDING

When you repeatedly call Obama a "cult leader", are you being a uniter or a divider?

Re: you know what are you doing? YOU ARE DIVIDING

If you want Unity, join the obama campaign.

She can't catch him in the delegates.

Re: wait a min: are you saying that it is OK to do

Alternative theory: a few Clinton supporters straggled in the door late after the process started, got barred and then the rumors cranked this up in the heat of the moment.

The idea that Obama should resign the Senate because some hick poll judge in Bexar County, Texas bolted a door is crazy.

Hillary says ...

Obama in TX doing something very BAD.

Lets find some independant confirmation before buying campaign spin..OK?

by JoeCoaster 2008-03-04 04:49PM | 0 recs
This is

on top of the earlier reports of Obama supporters having people who voted for Obama sign the caucus sign in sheets mauch earlier in the day.

Is this how "Chicago politics" works?

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

What about the pro-Obama Houston voters turned away from the polls?

Hillbilly'll do anything to win including being poor losers. Aren't they the ones who didn't seriously contest any caucus after Iowa (and considered skipping it)?

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

There's no proof this is what "Obama did in Texas."

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Obama has just lost the GE. So many Clinton supporters are Hispanic. This will just sharpen the racial divide in the Dem Party. I did not expect this from somebody who is endorsed by stalwarts like John Lewis and Jesse Jackson.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Your comment seems seriously off-point.  Are you alleging there is some racial component to this unconfirmed story?  Please explaain what you are talking about.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Unconfirmed? It is now being reported on abc.com

by HillaryKnight08 2008-03-04 05:14PM | 0 recs
Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

ABC news is reporting that the Clinton campaign is accusing the Obama campaign of this. They are not reporting that they have any evidence that it is actually happening, big difference!

They are also reporting that, despite the clinton campaigns best efforts to assert otherwise, the Texas Democratic Party's memo about caucus rules was not directed at the Obama campaign, but at both campaigns.

What blows my mind is that so far, Clinton is having a good night, and yet you've invested so much in the Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to the democratic party, the united states and puppies theory, that you can't even enjoy it.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

That's a strong assertion, that is not objectively based. I am merely commenting on what's going on. It's seems as if what's said is going on. Regardless of wether Clinton is doing well or not, if Obama's doing something wrong, it's wrong, no matter how well she's doing.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

What is a strong assertation that is not objectively based?

I'm not saying that if Obama is doing something bad you should ignore it. What I am saying its a shame that even when you should be enjoying Hillary's strong showing you are too busy buying into totally unsubstantiated, verging on tin foil hat allegations against Obama.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Firstly, I never said nor is there any evidence and it is completely false that I'm not enjoying Hillary's good night. THAT, is a subjective assertion on your behalf.

Secondly, you are coming from a highly sanctimonious stance considering your history or sarcastic statements.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

I am not, nor have I ever been a member of the Sarcastic Party.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

With all due respect, you do have a history of sarcastic comments. That doesn't mean you are apart of the Sarcastic Party. :)

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Allergic, I want to say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have talked to you that way.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Being a Hillary supporter means never having to say your sorry.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

I'm sorry if I come off as unkind. I don't wish it. I'm simply stating that your positions on how I feel about tonight are not based on fact.

Reported is not confirmed.  Christ on a saltine.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

What racial component? Whenever someone mentions John Lewis and Jesse Jackson, it HAS TO include racial components? Are you out of your mind?

For you, John Lewis and Jesse Jackson might be just African American politians. But for so many others they used to represent civil rights including rights to vote.

by praxis1 2008-03-04 05:19PM | 0 recs
Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Yes, both Jesse Jackson and John Lewis have fought for so long for voting rights for everybody regardless of their skin color.

And locking out Clinton supporters who tend to be (at least according to all exit polling in TX) a) women and b) Hispanic in disproptionate accounts has just sullied Obama in my eyes forever.

He may win the nomiantion, but he just lost my respect.

Re: Going off half-cocked

Again, these are unconfirmed reports you might want to wait before you draw conclusions.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Is CNN showing that Obama is being a bad boy, doing this bad thing?  They are there filming the caucuses, and yet they are not showing the Obama supporters locking the doors on Clinton supporters? it must be a media conspiracy.

Your attempt to invalidate caucus wins despite both campaigns full awareness of them and their rules going in undercuts your whole argument and validates what Obama's lawyer said on the call, that this is just one more baseless accusation meant to spin away why Hilllary is losing.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

"He" - Obama - isn't doing sh**, and the stories are not even confirmed as accurately reported, let alone accurately portrayed.  If some hack poll judge or precinct captain somewhere bolted a door and blocked out some late stragglers, this story has no legs.  The idea that Obama should resign a Senate seat over an election hiccup - the sort that happen in most high profile contested elections - is straight out of 7th grade.

It was "reported" that Muslims might have blown up the Murrah building in OKC until it was a lapsed Irish Catholic who did it.

Re: Obama in TX doing something very BAD

Drop out of the Senate? Are you serious? Even if these allegations are true, can you link the caucus goers behavior to Obama himself, or even to anyone near him? To call for his exit from the race is one thing - I disagree, but I can see it as a valid position - but from the Senate? Come on.
