American Idol-style contest for the next great progressive voice. I'm half serious on this one. There are some great minds across the blogosphere that are probably telegenic and good on their feet too.
Honestly, Maddow, Shuster, etc. would be a perfect complement, because they're good at doing commentary and reporting, which should be the primary importance, along focusing on issues that aren't getting as much play.
Dan Mongiardo. That's the unknown dude. If I remember correctly, that race closed real quickly the last few days leading up to the election. So yeah, I agree with your assessment.
You forget Manos: The Hands of Fate Now that's the worst motion picture ever made. Just look at Torgo. And the Frank Zappa look-alike. And the wives. And every other terrible thing in this film.
Great stuff as always, though I know there's been more polling of late leading up to the Mass. Primary on Tuesday... I'm digging for it right now, though it's somewhere, but it's got Patrick with a good advantage after Reilly's implosion in the first debate. It's looking more and more like a two horse race for the nomination between Gabrielli and Patrick.
Good for the Heat. I'm waiting for the Second Red Sox championship in 3 years (after what they did to the Nationals, I'm seeing this as a 4-team fight for the AL (Sox, Yankees, other Sox, Tigers), with the winner fighting the Mets for baseball supremacy.
Yeah... we got 11 Rs, but they got 50+ Dems... that's what killed it. At the same time, that just means that the effort needs to be redoubled.
That being said, Barton and the Tennessee woman may have been annoying, but the one that got to me the most in terms of trying to twist the debate was Rush. I honestly felt like he was attempting to covertly make the Net Neutrality thing into a different issue (ie the whole voting against this bill is voting for elites; and the voting against the bill is voting against his side of the city stuff).
I'm going to move this over somewhere (not sure yet), because I don't want to be locked out... now I know about that rule, and knowing is half the battle.

Rahm singlehandedly delivered the White Sox a World Series in 2005, just by waving his arms around.

What about things? Things feel impugned by your love of "stuff".
Because capitulation and giving up on the base worked so well in the 80's and 90's. The DLC/New Democrats do it again...

Hey, don't bash that license plate... that's the extent of Joementum's committment to the 2000 Presidential election.

The water tower ad lies to me about net neutrality. It tells me that Net Neutrality is a solution in search of a problem. It makes me cry.
If Cox can do what it does to Craigslist, who knows what eventually could be done due to COPE.
So, just thought I would let you all know...
Dang it. The Czech dude without much hair just got a goal :(
