So the second quarter numbers are coming out and most look good for Democrats. I think it as been mentioned that the DSCC is outraising the NRSC. Chuck Schumer is a prolific fundraiser, and hopefully, he can push Pederson(AZ), McCaskill(MO), and Brown(OH) into the Senate race(they seem right on the edge of going in, I believe). As far as Liddy Dole, um, please keep doing what you are doing. :) I think some of this has been frontpaged(like Hilary's good numbers) , but I thought I would post them all in one place(at least the ones I have) and give an analysis

Many here have already read Jonathan Alter's piece on "
stem cell research" (The Pro-Cure Movement, which is a great frame for it). Democrats certainly need to make this a big issue, for so many reasons that have been repeated over and over. The issue isnt about abortion, which is why polls show even 50% of Republicans approving embryonic stem cell use. Most people know someone who could be helped by stem cells. And the fact that the President would use a veto, much less his
first ever, on this is appalling(Sen. Brownback, in an effort to court the religious right for an 08 prez bid, will also try to filibuster the bill).
