I don't think so. It's not just Ayers and Dohrn. It's Wright and Moss and Meeks, Tony Rezko, Dorhn and Ayers, Rashid Kalidi, etc. There's a pattern of Obama having a sordid cast of friends, and this goes to his judgment, imo.
I don't care where Obama was when Wright made those comments. Instead of denouncing Wright's anti-white, anti-American tirade, Obama lectured us on race. Bad move. And then many Obama supporters lecture you on taking Wright's words in context. If you've had friends die of AIDS, and I have, then there's no context which makes his words acceptable. Period. Obama CHOSE to spend 20 years with his mentor. Bad. Move.
He certainly did. Listen to the tape again. To paraphrase, Obama said: A message of hope coming from a black man, antipathy towards people who aren't like them..etc, etc, the point was painfully clear. Why would he point out his own race? His point was obvious, and it went down well with the chardonnay.
I think that's a hateful comment, and if you said it about any other race than whites you'd be banned. But somehow--in a very elite segment of the "left"-- it's OK to be racist against whites. And you wonder why Dems lose elections.

Yes, Obama is a slow-motion train wreck.
Great Post! Positive, upbeat, and factual.
Hillary '08!
Very sad day. Kantor served President Clinton and our Country. Whoever did this should be ashamed. The lies continue, don't be bamboozled.
I have my problem with Wal-Mart, but for a lot of Americans Wal-Mart is a positive thing in their lives.

This is not helpful.

I KNEW I would read "context" here. Thanks.
But wait!!! Didn't you listen to his pastor in context? (snark)
Really, Oregon??? Wow, that would be an earthquake. I thought BHO had Oregon locked up. Curious to see.

Give me a break. Of course we was.
I thought we talking about Obama's comments in SF???
