But, he's got a huge security credibility problem stemming from the Los Alamos security breaches when he was Sec. of Energy.  The right wing/swift boat machine will be all over this and the media will parrot the GOP talking points like they often do and it will be a difficult point to overcome in a close race.

I could see him as Sec. of State.  

another related concept is introducing each county's Democratic Central Committee to blogging. That way you have someone in the system presumably with direct lines of communication to your statewide organization and at the same time they have their ear to the ground in their area.

We all know politics in the Eastern Shore and out in the Western Counties are way different than those in Prince Georges, Montgomery and Baltimore. So, you can combine the statewide themes with local flavor.  From those spots, I predict individual bloggers will emerge.

and deserves an opportunity to run for the Dem nomination in 2008.  He has worked very hard ever since dropping out in 2004. For the rest of that year he crisscrossed the US working hard trying to get Dems elected and has continued since.  I hope that work will dispell all the "Wes is a republican" crap.
