This diary is incorrect and misleading. Jon Soltz (how he spells his name) correctly was angry when a fellow soldier (Soltz is still in the Army) should up (unregistered) at a political event in a uniform.
this is a direct violation of the rules (see above) and military members have been less than honorably discharged for doing this.
Soltz was correct in his actions and in his recommendations to the soldier in question.
Actually, I think John Edwards has it right and I think the Democrats have been so screwed up for the last few years, they can't see straight.
They don't have to do a god damm thing but send the original bill back. It is so typical of the DC centrists to think they have to change something, they don't.
Send the same bill back (I wrote something over at HuffPost about it)

I was there.
this is incorrect and wrong.
the report that was created was not a summary of existing information, nor was it information that was given to committee
it was a 92 page report under lock and key available to Senators only (no staff)
hence, no Senator could have been briefed on it because no staffer could have seen it.
zac
thats a great list, thanks for finding it
The only person I worry about it is Hagel.

There is one side of this story.
We're right
They're wrong.
You don't compromise and become half right.

I heard a DC beltway pundit literally say that "at least inside the beltway, Duncan Hunter is regarded as a strong and viable candidate."
Ah, yes, that says it all.

Nice to meet you too Murshed
