Absolutely!  AND Bin Laden is very likely long dead.  BushCo just needs to inflate a boogeyman every now and then so they try to breathe new life into his mythology.
  • more interested in progressing America forward or just advancing the interests of their particular party?  To be truly patriotic you must hold the needs of America above the needs of your party.  Jefferson himself said that "dissent is the highest form of patriotism."  So us Greens are providing an extremely valuable service not only to our country but to the Democratic party when we perform our job as opposition party and teach the Dems how its done. Enough already of the rolling over, surrender, caution and pulling of punches we've come to expect from the Dems.  When the Dems are falling down on the job so badly but will not stir themselves to action, naturally third parties arise that infuse new energy into the progressive cause.  This is what we are seeing in America right now.
  • like that's what I meant.  Obviously the Greens are a much smaller party as you alude to, but it doesn't stop us from taking courageous positions to fight for our country.  For our small size we positively kick ass. So what is the enormous Democratic machine-like party's excuse for their Surrender Monkey mentality?
  • GW Bush did.  President-in-Exile Gore fought it valiantly but unfortunately not enough of the Dems stood up with him.  Dems have got to get find their courage and quit their victim mentality.
  • And sure those are some obstacles we'll have to overcome, but not reasons for holding back from doing what's right.  We must save our country from the debacle of corruption that is the BushCo.
  • Arise ye Dems and started on setting up the impeachment proceedings for Bush's high crimes and misdemeanors.  Cheney too!

Dems arise and get started on setting up the impeachment proceedings for Bush's high crimes and misdemeanors.  Cheney too!

I fully agree with your take Mr. Sheilds.  I think many others also picked up on the president-of-peeve tone this morning and it will not play well.  This regime is unraveling under pressure.  Thank God!  Impeachment for the illegitimate (aka bastard), unelected resident of the White House.  These are high crimes and misdemeanors.  Democrats arise and stand up for liberty!

and current Green I heartily support all efforts to move the Dems to be a party of sustainability.  Please take the Green's issues from us!  The environment is too important to leave to partisanship.  Get moderate Reps in on it too!  Human survival on the planet depends on the U.S. leading towards sustainability.

Maybe he's trying to be one of these tiresome "debunker" types???  I don't know. I do know its hard to tell where he's coming from and his logic and tactics are very suspicious.

be taken with a huge grain of salt.  I've personally corresponded with Dunne and its very tough to tell exactly where he's coming from.  This Arab-Irishman seems to be saying that all these other websites listed (and there's some damn good ones on his list) have fallen prey to the CIA uber machinations but thank god he has remained pristinely untouched by their manipulations.  Yeah right.  And like the CIA is the only ones doing disinfo out there and the only ones we need to be aware of.  Yeah right.

I have to wonder about whether he is really seeking the truth, just boosting his ego, perhaps is a disinformation artist of some other kind, or maybe is just plain wrong.  I don't know, but it seems suspicious to me.  It seems he would have all citizen researcher/journalists either beholden to his point of view or fighting among themselves.  I think he's more of what one might call a "counter-conspiracy theorist" -- trying to knock down all other conspiracy theorists -- than the conspiracy theorist he claims to be.  In otherwords its seems like his attitude is that if the idea didn't originate from him it must be wrong.  NIH (Not Invented Here) syndrome.

I will say this for him: his irish accent is pleasant for this Irish-American to listen to. ;-)

fought for our democratic rights I switched to the Green Party.  You can easily observe the we in the Green party didn't feel the need to pull any punches or to mince words like the Dems do constantly.  Instead of calling a spade a spade they are constantly trying to people please and suck up to the Repubs.  Come on Dems, stand up and fight for the people!  That is the way to get our support!  In the meantime accept that we Greens are your allies, not the enemy.  If we make you run harder to get votes you should thank us for giving you some healthy competition that will increase your appeal to voters instead of trying to heavy handedly supress us (as I've experienced WAY too frequently).  Or has the Democratic Party gotten so corrupt and comfy that they no longer know how to be an opposition party and can only be complicit to the NeoCon Dominionists?  You should be adopting our good ideas and running with them.  President (as in actually elected) Gore knows about alternative energy policy, wise use of our military, social justice, etc., as does President-in-exile Kerry.  Listen to these wise men!  Get off your duff and start fighting for the American people!
