Yesterday I spent part of the morning talking to Paul Hackett in his Ford Truck outside of Hackett for Senate HQ. Here's the conversation:

This has been a real tough one for me. I've been convering Paul online longer than anyone. It was obvious the first moment I heard him that he was something different. A spark that could lead to real  change in Ohio. It's hard to watch someone that I admire so much taking such a beating from his own team. It amazes me that as angry as he was at his Party, he still holds true to his faith in the process and the values that his Party stands for.

There's a lot of negativity on the blogosphere over the Brown Hackett Senate race. Maybe I'm a part of the problem. It's not enough to just be mad at things, you've got to be for something.

John Hritz is dropping his primary challenge to Mike DeWine for the Ohio GOP Senate nomination. If he can avoid a challenge from the right that will be a big plus for DeWine.

All this makes me wonder: is a better Republican Evangelican candidate about to enter the race, or is Karl Rove rediscovering his A game?

Hi Ohio 2nd fans!

Well, I've gotten work from my hosting provider that my site http://blog.oh02.com has gotten so much traffic today that it will be moved to another server. That means that I am down until the DNS issues are resolved.

Looks like Schmidt's latest slime against Hackett was the final straw resulting in a net backlash that fried my server.

The Hackett for Congress campaign has released its first commercial: A Call to Service. Democrat Paul Hackett is running in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District's August 2nd special election to replace Rob Portman.

The Hackett for Congress campaign has stated that these ads will start running tomorrow.

These are my notes of the candidates debate for the Ohio 2nd Congressional District Democratic primary that was held on Wednesday. (I'm sorry if they come off a bit scattered. They were written at 3 o'clock this morning.)

The format for the debate was for each candidate to give a two minute opening and closing statement with six questions for all of the candidates in the middle.

I don't call my once beloved party the Democratic Party any more, I call it the Pussy Party.

Why? Because it's a party of pussies.

A party that whines and bitches when it loses and then moans about how it wishes it was more like the other party. A party that wants other people to do all the work for it, like Move On and ACT.

A party that is too much of a pussy to fight for what it believes in. A party that is too much of a pussy to fight back when it gets its ass kicked. A party that is too much of a pussy to say proudly what it stands for. A party that is such a pussy that it worries about appearing too angry in front of sensative voters. A party that is too much of a pussy to do the hard work that it takes to win the election, A party that is such a pussy that it can't even keep the girl vote. A party that is too scared to stand up and fight when it’s most loyal members are kept from getting their votes counted. A party that is so full of pussies that it nominates pussy after pussy after losing pussy and cheers and dances and sings about it and then loses and limps home and cries. A party that is too much of a pussy to fight for peace. A party that is such a pussy that it's learned to love being the sissy prison bitch to the party that keeps fucking it up the ass over and over again.

What a bunch of pussies.

YOU WANT TO WIN, PUSSY? FIGHT FOR IT.

Fight for every stinking back assward precinct. Take a punch and come back stronger. Quit waiting for George Soros or Michael Moore to save your pathetique asses. If you want to win, stop being a pussy. If you want to people to vote for you, stop being pussies, PUSSY.
