Weldon Camp Calls Cops on Sestak Volunteer

According to today's (Aug 5's) Delaware County Daily Times, the Curt Weldon Campaign (PA 07) called the police on an 18-year-old honor student who volunteers for the Sestak campaign.  Why call the police?  Because he was standing near Weldon's campaign office.  Dangerous child!!!

And why was he standing near Weldon's office?  Because Weldon was going to have a press conference and the young man wanted to listen.  Luckily, as hard as the Republicans are trying to change it, this is still the USA, and when the police arrived, they informed the Weldon campaign that the student was allowed to stand right where he was.

Apparently, the Weldon campaign had received an email that led them to believe MoveOn had organized a protest outside their office, so they called the cops.  So, the "threat" of a MoveOn protest is enough to cause them to call the cops?  These people are nuts.  But I guess we already knew that. And it looks like they are scared.  Good, it's about time.  It's about time their un-American behavior was recognized.

And then there's the fact that these guys attend and protest Sestak events all the time.  But, I guess they think the police are around to make sure Republicans always get their way.  I guess it's ok as long as you're a Republican.
