Good grief Jerome, I used to love MyDD, but now have only visited this site a few times in the past 6 months or so. I no longer recognize most of the names here, and the few diaries I have checked out (especially yours) seem to be pathetic attempts to take down a Democratic President.

And I do not see that changing anytime soon. As far as I am concerned the repugs are irrelevant roadblocks (the kindest thing I can say about them, IMHO).

I have watched President Obama work harder for post partisanship than any other Democratic President in my lifetime. He certainly has tried harder than any repug I have ever seen. Whilst I feel this will have zero impact on the repugs, I do hope the American people will notice his efforts.

I never bought the hype either and was a very strong Hillary supporter throughout the primaries. However, I am also a very strong Democrat and Obama is my President. I will support him.

I don't usually watch Olbermann but Matthews did. And the few times I caught him being interviewed on MSNBC today, he continued to be an ass. He even said that Contessa Brewer was being rude to him. There seemed to be a consensus that this guy is a raving lunatic.

I thought that Matthews made a fool of him. Or rather Santelli made a fool of himself.

Thank you for posting this. I caught a bit of this on Rachel Maddow and was left in gapped jaw amazement at the audacity of these sleaze bags. We cannot allow these liars to revise history again.

I want these murdering bastards brought before the public square to be tried, and if found guilty, punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Wow! That makes me like this crew even more. Good for them! I get really tired of news reporters and survivors talking about what a miracle God granted them by helping them live through a tornado or hurricane or whatever.  As others have stated, the real miracle would be no natural or human made disasters.

I remember others commenting that this landing was a miracle, blah blah blah. I even heard one person say something about the hand of God holding the plane just before it touched down. Yikes!

The real miracle is the fact that these people were trained well enough in the US in this day and age, with cutbacks in education and training, etc. I give this one to well trained professionals who acted quickly and gave of themselves to make sure every single person survived.
