Except for McCaskill, the woman govs have more real leadership experience than HE does...]
Once again, the male trainee gets promoted while the women who are already doing the job get passed over.
And you're wondering why women are getting pissed off at the Democratic Party and "Chosen One"???
I don't want to see Clinton as VP because it's another example of an experienced, savvy woman training the younger guy who gets the promotion over the woman who trained him.
Having been through that crap myself, the scenario makes me sick.
John Edwards must be glad he has kept his powder dry over issuing an endorsement. Wife Elizabeth, of course, has come out with favorable comments about Clinton's healthcare plans versus Obama's which gives some insight into how the wheels might be turning in the Edwards camp.
But I do disagree with Elizabeth in her idea about a "Unity Ticket" even if it hints that Clinton should be at the top of it.
My thoughts are that Obama would drag such a ticket DOWN, because his weaknesses would continue to be prime fodder for the GOP and their 527's, even surpassing Clinton's. Sure, black voters may stay home, but not all of them. Some voters in largely black small towns and rural areas who have strong church ties might be insulted or, at the very least, confused by Obama's statements. Or is he only talking about "white towns" in PA?
Of course, Obama's comments add fuel to the Democratic Party's problems with already shedding voters from the process in FL and MI, which Obama is helping perpetuate. The great "uniter" isn't doing much uniting lately.
Yesterday I heard a pundit comment that McCain should pick Condi Rice as his running mate because she's the only one left in this Administration that is "liked." So does that mean Obama would be an effective counterweight to her presence on the ticket (am I racist for saying that?). Well, he certainly couldn't argue effectively about her problems with that memo about planes flying into buildings before 911 because HE also apparently thinks no one could even have predicted a 91l. His appearance on Hardball April 2 has been fully discussed by Kirsten Bretweiser, who considers Obama's response to Chris Matthews "glib." See 911: Where Barack Obama and Condi Rice Sound Alarmingly Alike
So, I'm not entirely convinced that Obama on the ticket will make a Democratic victory a sure thing.

In the meantime, I keep having a recurring dream of John Edwards being nominated for President by acclamation at the convention...it's not going to happen, it might be just a dream, but at least it's not a nightmare.
office today, who knew that Hillary said Medicare was in the most danger...Or in my GPs office, either.
And fees for doctors not settled for more that 6 months this year...
They all know that everyone is trying to do her in, they know the DC crowd is tryiing to starve Medicare...what does St. Obama say?
They don't trust him and are mad as hell.
As am I, when I couldn't find a Medicare doctor who would accept new patients...wouldn't even take my CASH, because they don't want me filing which would have them on the radar about not accepting more people....
A POX on the Democratic POOBAHS who sat there in Congress this year and only got 6 mothhs freeze on what doctors get paid---before they try to lower it again! Meanwhile, the hospitals get MORE--sure, they're big companies!! Question: who will send you to the hospital if you can't see a doctor??
And that's why older people are for Hillary...they know what's important...not some "charm boy" without experience, no real track record or COMMITTMENT to anything...
Obama has done an even better job of splitting the party!
His crew and their personal attacks, plus his own baggage, have turned him into an unappealing opportunist ...a Pyrrhic victory is the only thing he'll get, if that.
However, he lied/flip-flopped within the space of about two days re: his knowing about Wright's words/being there to hear them.
Fancy words don't erase that FACT...which the GOP will not forget.
He's a phony trying to save his neck politically after months of his own playing of the race card. He didn't offer any uniting speech on this subject until forced to. He is still a cipher...
important! So, it IS about appearance, right?? So, it is about race, right??
How about a woman being the "face" of America to the world? Hillary was a great inspiration to women when she was in the WH as First Lady...and will be even moreso if she is President? Why are WOMEN as a sex supposed to defer to a male, who happens to be black?? Esp. one who has done SQUAT except ignore freezing tenants in his benefactor's slum buildings?? One who plays the race card when in SC and MS by talking in code against whites? Why does that make him such a great FACE to present to the world...or America, for that matter??
So, Obama hasn't gone negative??? Give me a break...his veiled sexist comments are of the worst kind...personal. But his lying is what gets me the most...what are we on, now, the 5th explanation of his Nafta contacts?? And his racist appeal in SC and MI is worse....pitting blacks against "the bamboozlers." Meanwhile, he's the biggest bamboozler of all....while professing his oneness with black voters now, while in the IL seanate he was taking money from Rezko who was not providing heat during Chicago winters in the buildings in Obama's own district. What kind of crap is that, Mr. "Community Organizer"??? Where's the morality in that, Obama???
Once he signed that big contract and started teaming with Tweety Matthews, I knew it was over. He really has disppointed me greatly. I think his ego was stroked more by the money and being the rising star than by an audience appreciative of truth-telling.
Obama and his coterie are looking worse and worse. Big mouths, little experience. They are downright scary. And personal attacks will get him nowhere with many voters...Mr. Unity is becoming a divider. Is he really interested in anything except OBAMA??

Idiots, insulting, and not worth a damn...

I completely reject this party and how they've enabled Obama.
Sorry, he won't get my vote. Wait til more crap comes out on him...in October.
