BillandHillary are Bush Sockpuppets

Take a close look at the RNC website and tell me who you think benefits from Clinton's announcement:

"Bill Clinton's call to Democrats to stand up and address the issue of Social Security is a refreshing reminder that he and former Democrat Senators Moynihan, Kerrey and Breaux understood the importance of strengthening Social Security. The Pelosi-Reid Democrats of today should learn from their predecessors and set aside their agenda of obstruction. It's not only a losing political strategy, but Americans deserve leaders of both parties who lead with principle rather than partisan antics."

DEMOCRAT FORECAST ON SOCIAL SECURITY: SEVERE OBSTRUCTION, NO IDEAS

Some Democrats And Columnists Agree, Democrats Should Do More Than Say No:

Curious.

Nothing about Bill at NDOL.

The New Donkey doesn't mention Clinton's sellout.

The DNC doesn't mention Bill's Betrayal.

Here's what one link at the DNC does say, The Bush Disaster Plan:

The Bush Plan Disaster

If President Bush's risky plan for Social Security were introduced today, millions of Americans would immediately see a dramatic drop in their Social Security benefits.

Death of a Sales Pitch

President Bush and his top officials are on tour trying to sell their risky plan to privatize Social Security to a skeptical public. It seems the more they talk about their plan, the less popular it becomes. Learn the latest news about the death of Bush's Social Security privatization sales pitch below.

Apr 27, 2005: Republicans Can't Even Agree with Each Other

Let's stop right there. Now Republicans can claim that Democrats can't even agree with each other. Clinton just crapped all over Democratic opposition to destroying Social Security.

Here are six independent reasons Clinton's statement was an unmitigated disaster:

(1.) Instead of throwing Bush an anvil, Clinton just threw him a life preserver.

(2.) Bill Clinton has just single handedly salvaged Bush's 60 day disasterous road trip campaigning to kill Social Security. Bush can get up in front of the whole nation and say "See? I was right. There is a Social Security crisis."

(3.) Republican accusations that Democrats are obstructionists have just been legitimized.

(4.) The slight chance that the Blair-Bush Iraq memo would make either the Sunday Funny Shows or the MSM is now dead. The only topic on the Sunday Funny Shows will be Bill Clinton agreeing with Bush that there is a crisis and we have to fix it this year.

(5.) Democrats are going to get their butts kicked on Social Security this weekend and from here on out. They were already doing bad enough as it is.

(6.) No matter what plan Hillary or anybody else comes up with, it will give Bush and Bill Thomas momentum for their version of "saving" Social Security. Any plan conceeds the argument that something has to be done this year. Clinton has just provided bipartisan cover to any Republican that Bush can peel away from the Conscience Caucus.

Isn't that sweet
I'm watching Countdown and Keith just played a clip of Bill Clinton pledging never to criticize Bush 41. Clinton has his head impacted so far up the Bush dynasty's rectal cavity it will take a whole team of proctologists to extract it.

What a sock puppet.

I always said it was too cozy
Gary, you just figured out what I have known all along, that the relationship between Bill and Hillary and the Bushies are quite sickening. I wrote a diary some time ago on the cozy relationship between Bush 41 and Clinton on issues like tusnami relief and other issues. I was called all sorts of names and told to go away. Also the relationship between Bill and the buffoon in the White House also sickens me no end. Gary, thanks for realizing this and commenting on it.

Re: I always said it was too cozy
I had no problem with Bill's cooperation on the tsunami relief effort. That was an is a world wide problem that should have been above politics. Bush 41 had very real flaws, but in my estimation was one of the best Republican presidents of the 20th century.

For the most part, former Presidents should not take the lead in substantive issue debates. I think Carter has been an exemplary ex-President. Bush 41 has done reasonably well, considering he can not be expected to trash his son's stupidity.

Until his latest smooth move, I had no problem with Bill Clinton. Jerome's comment that this is in all likelihood a set up for Hillary is perceptive. I am working on another diary on the subject at this very moment.
