I was remarking on how you said "2.9 million nurses" endorsed her. I doubt thats true. Whats probably more accurate is to say that the leaders ofthat particular union, with 2.9 million members, endorsed her.
It may be true that a lot of the members support her, but i really doubt every single one of those 2.9 million nurses actually support her.
But whatever. Good for her. She's still not gonna win.

"Clinton falsely accused Obama of saying he "really liked the ideas of the Republicans" including private Social Security accounts and deficit spending. Not true. The entire 49-minute interview to which she refers contains no endorsement of private Social Security accounts or deficit spending, and Obama specifically scorned GOP calls for tax cuts."
and
"We can't speak to how things "came across" to Clinton, but we've listened to the entire interview and to our ears, it's just flatly false that Obama said he "really liked the ideas of the Republicans"
I think some of you are either too dense or too partisan to realize Obama wasn't praising Reagan's policies. He was praising the way that Reagan was able to institute those policies.
Reagan = Change in this sense because Reagan was able to recognize the mood of the country and use that to move the country to get behind his policies, right or wrong.
That's the kind of thing Obama wants to do. Move the country in order to get some progressive reforms in place.
I dont care how slow you are...no one, no one gives up a run for the most powerful government office in the world because you don't want to go on the Daily SHow. He could have, instead of dropping out, just cancelled his appearance. It happens all the time in the world of tv booking. I love TDS as much as anyone, but seriously, to think Thompson dropped out because he was afraid of Jon Stewart is a pretty gigantic stretch i think.
Bill Richardson is his own worst enemy. He keeps making gaffes like he did on the HRC forum or on Meet the Press and his candidacy is done.
I do believe he has the experience and the resume for the job. I just think he lacks the polish that some of the others have and so, in all honesty, he looks amateurish next to Obama and Clinton and even Edwards. He's going to have to overcome that and stop putting his foot in his mouth.

oops/ mybad. you didn't write this one. thought you did by how you replied to one of my comments. my apologies to you on that.
BTW georgep, next time you schill for billary, you might wanna put somewhere near the top that you ARE indeed a billary hack.
Thats part of the reason i decided to be all snarky was cause you didn't disclose your obvious bias in you writing.
wow. you called ted kennedy fat. How original.
And somehow, if Teddy had gone the other way and endorsed Billary, i doubt you'd dismiss it like you're doing now.

Whining?! You're kidding right?
The question was "What does it say that it takes two people to campaign against Obama?"
ANd Bill's answer was "Jesse Jackson won here too, you know."
Uh-huh. That answer has everything to do with the double team by the Clintons. Full-disclosure: I'm an Obama supporter.
But even so, how can you NOT see what Bill was trying to do there, because to not see it, you have to be wearing blinders.
2.9 million nurses, huh?
did they ask every single member who they wanted to endorse? and it was unamious for hillary, huh?
somehow i find that a little hard to believe
i looked.
where???
i couldnt find anything on the front page. and the last entry is from yesterday.. sooo
maybe i'm a doofus, but if its there i didn't find on single word about it.
interesting how its nowhere to be found here.

well...maybe Billary shouldn't be using the republican tactics of fear, smear, and distortion.
But like Obama says...its good practice for november

how come all the anti-Obama stuff that gets posted here comes from Jerome Armstrong? I never see him going after anybody else.
You might call it fair criticism but is it really fair if the only one he ever criticizes is Obama?
Just asking.
"If we're going to be competitive with people of color, we've got to ask them for their vote."
And make sure you refer to them as "people of color" when you ask them to vote for you. I would love to see how that goes...
