This is getting pretty sad. I wold expect a little less sleaze from MYDD, but this is a site with a bias towards Hillary, so I guess nothing is beneath you people.
Get it in your heads; FAUX Noise, the Republicans, and the McCain campaign all want Hillary to win the nomination, because they know she is unelectable.
Promote Wright all you want, but the only people who care about the retired, out of service, and now disassociated Reverend Wright, are those who won't vote for any Democrat under any circumstances. The people that matter aren't going to say "I won't vote for Obama just because Wright was his minister."
Parrot Bill O (a true racist) as much as you want, but it only makes you guys and Hillary look desperate.
  • In Hillary's book a man that sings "Bomb Iran" and says troop can stay is Iraq for a hundred has proved that he can be commander in chief?
If Hillary thinks that way, then she has no grounds to qualify anyone as fit to be commander in chief, certainly not herself.
  • Why don't you accept my offer of non-negativity truce?
Can Clinton win the nomination if she (and her supporters) don't go negative?
  • i meant to write that Wright won't help Clinton against McCain.

  • posted links to McCain's troubling spiritual advisers if I was a Republican hack?
No, I am just pissed off Obama supporter countering your kitchen sink, scorched-Earth, vindictive, back stabbing, tactic against Obama.
Want to make a truce not to go negative against each other's favorite Democratic candidate?
I am up for it, but I doubt Hillary can win the nomination if she and her supporters don't practice scorched-Earth against Obama.
  • This is spinning out of control isn't it?
If you think this is at all helping Clinton, then you are sadly mistaken.
Throw more kitchen sinks at Obama if you want, but it won't help Hillary in the long run.
  • Hillary is not a smart politician, or she wouldn't have implied that McCain was ready to be CinC and that Obama wasn't, and she would have stopped Penn from implying that Obama couldn't win Pennsylvania in the General Election.
Hillaryland knows they can't win the nomination unless they throw the kitchen sink at Obama, and if they lose the nomination, then are prepared to play scorched-Earth against Obama. Thus why they bring up Rezko or Wright at all.
All of it is sad, and it could possibly get McCain elected.
    Some Democrat Clinton is!
  • Voter are going to ask themselves when Hillary points out that she has "First Lady" experience.

  • Starting on January 1st 2008, Hillary was the establishment candidate, with a lot of money, a huge infrastructure in place supporting her, dependable name recognition, her gender (a big plus in a party where the voters are 55-60% women) and the Clinton legacy, all working in her favor against a dark skinned man with "Hussein" for a middle name. What happened to Hillary?
    Hillary happened to Hillary.
The woman has no grace, and can't win her party's nomination, let alone the Presidency.
But the Democrats, the party well accustomed to losing, just won't let her fade away.
Maybe Obama's association with Wright is just what Hillary needs, but I doubt it, and it certainly won't carry her past McCain.
  • Doesn't repudiate them, the supporters that spread her scorched-Earth tactics, and she still has apologized for implying that McCain was ready to be CinC, and that Obama wasn't.
Hillary and her supporters know that she can't win unless she throws the kitchen sink, and failing that, she intends to harm Obama as much as she can.
I will have nothing to do with Clinton and her tactics, and that is why I won't vote for her.
And that saddens me, because in the late months of 2007 I was donating to her campaign.

  • has your ear. But most people think he is an idiot, and his idiotic statement about Pennsylvania was retracted by the Clinton campaign almost immediately. Amd Rendell said either Democratic candidate could win Pennsylvania in the General Election.

  • Against strong candidate in 2006 either.

  • "but Wright practically ruins his electability,"
    For several reasons.

    1. Wright will not be part of Obama's spiritual team, in any way, ever again.
    2. McCain's spiritual advisers are a lot worse than Wright.
    3. The Trinity Church proves that Obama has been an active Christian for over 20 years (and not a Muslim)
    4. Obama could select a popular spiritual adviser anytime he wants to.
    5. Few people cares about Wright, and those that do won't vote for a Democrat under any circumstances.

Wright may help Clinton, but he won't help McCain.

  • McCain is like Nixon, Hillary is like Humphrey, and Obama is like Robert Kennedy.

  • When Hillary implied that McCain was ready to be commander in chief, and Obama wasn't.
Only it was Hillary herself who appeared to be endorsing McCain over Obama (and she still hasn't apologized for doing it), not a retiring, old, fire and brimstone preacher (and Wright never appeared to be endorsing McCain).
