For the claim that Kaine has cancelled all his events this week, not just the baltimore fundraiser. I think the DKos diarist may just be using some hyperbolic language.

Sexism made as a charge simply being in the air isn't very compelling. Sexism is a very real problem but we need to be specific in our criticism. The comic provided by Krugman is certainly of that character (and just a bad cartoon) but I can't see who the writer is to see if they are a real progressive.

Bill Clinmton was absolutely right when he said the more optimistic candidate wins. All Hillary supporters know how to do is spew vitriol and that's why you lose.

Handling the media and getting everyone elgible to vote for you is how one wins the general. Obama didn't make the rules (Hillary's friends did actually) but he knows how to run better then anyone else alive today.
