So it should not surprise you or anyone that I would end my support for Hillary when she voted for/with Lieberman/Bush/Cheney and then stated she wouldn't have all the troops out of Iraq by 2013. She backtracked on her promise to end the war and I ended my support for her. Period.

The sad truth about Darfur is that we have all sat back and watched this genocide and humanitarian crisis unfold before our very eyes. But we haven't demanded that our elected officials take immediate action. It is shameful. I do not support war but I do support stopping genocide and if that involves the use of military FORCE then so be it.

While Amnesty International and other organizations rightfully organize protests and rallies for Burma they and we have likely put Darfur on the back burner. And this horrible crisis has been going on for years. For some unexplained reason we pay more attention to 6 students charged with a horrible crime than we do to thousands of human beings slaughtered in Africa. It is shameful and we have a moral responsibility to demand that our elected officials do something about this right now.
