    I have a student
    I have a student who is being flown out to be a 72 hour volunteer in one of the battle states.  I told her I had no problem if she was going to help get out the vote, but that if I heard any shenanigans about voter suppression I was lowering her grade.

    last night
    Last night I was at a debate between the College Democrats and the College Republicans on our campus and the CR debater in the end said: Its a free country, you don't have to vote if you are not completely satisfied with the candidates.  I think that was a pretty good indication of what the GOPs strategy is at this point.  Keep voter turnout as low as possible.  It also seemed to indicate how vulnerable they feel.

    Don't forget DC
    Republicans continue to block any legislation that would give DC residents representation in Congress.
