Presidential nominee 2008
by Carl Nyberg, Thu Aug 18, 2005 at 02:14:09 PM EDT
Rather than consider one huge field of candidates the following polls allow participants to vote in a number of categories.
The hypothesis is that a candidate must establish himself or herself as the dominant candidate within a category and then s/he must sell herself/himself and the importance of the category to the voters.
The polls
- anti-Iraq War
- "Blue State" governors
- the Clinton connection
- guy's guy (candidates that will help Dems with male voters)
- organized labor (candidates that could unify organized labor)
- "Purple State" governors
- "Red State" governors
- Senators, current
- Senators, former
- Southern Governors
