I too sat and watched the concession speech and the tears rolled down my face. It is inconceivable that this country could possibly choose GWB. Clearly, the Republican Party, The GOP (greedy, old people) have bought the presidency. I hope they get everything and more of what they deserve. When they are long gone, my children and grandchildren will still be paying for their excesses.
As the mother of two girls, I worry about the rights of women. Will Roe V. Wade be overturned? My only consolation is living in California where me are a little bit insulated by a progressive government, but I feel sorry for the rest of you in less progressive states.
Don't give up the fight! There are more elections to come in the years ahead, granted we will have to work hard, but GWB will prove just how incompetent he is. Continue to resist this ugly, vicious regime. Good will eventually triumph over evil! I have to believe there is still hope or I couldn't go on. To all my fellow warriors.... never give up!
