I mean this the nicest way possible, but where the hell was everyone when, you know, the campaign against Prop 8 was being waged? (I'm speaking of the Keith Olbermanns of the world, not the good folks on this site, many of which worked hard on this issue)
The Mormons outworked and outhustled the no on Prop 8 folks, and they won. Now everyone is waking up to say "whoa that's not fair!" Well, where were they a month ago when they had a chance to make a difference?
The point I was trying to make is to take Jerome's predictions of doom as motivation. Sorry if I wasn't as eloquent about that as you would have liked.
While I personally disagree with the ultimate analysis (a tie or 2%) victory, Jerome is providing an excellent cautionary message for us.
Palin was a splash of cold water in the face; this thing isn't in the bag or anywhere near it.
After my son goes to bed tonight, I'm heading to barackobama.com and looking for volunteer opportunities. This will be my first time doing anything like that. I suggest that others do the same.
yeah, but she's cute, has a family, and looks like the mom that lives down the street from you. I say the way to handle her is to dismiss her and focus on mc cain.

When he saw 50k people hit the streets, he said "hey, here's a way to score some ratings"
When there were zero people on the streets a month ago.... silence
The more I think about it, the more I think KO is a grandstanding douchebag.
Leadership is putting your ass on the line WHEN IT COUNTS, not a month later.

Yes, that was a KO lookie-me moment.

I guess women in wheelchairs don't sell as well as smokin-hot daughters of privilege.
Oh, I agree with you.

I'll bet y'all he keeps his chairmanship, and stays in the caucus.
this is not cocky obamamaniaspeak, this is the truth: Obama won the election yesterday and today.
Man, in order for McCain to have a ground game that comes within 100 yards of Obama, he'd have had to start building it six months ago.
90%, 90%, 90%
just shot mc cain's change meme out the window

1. She's a nobody. She should be treated as such. Biden should say hello at the debates, then hammer mc cain.
2. Obama has the right idea: acknowledge Palin, pat her on the head, then get right back to "90%, 90%, 90%"
if the movie "casino" is an analogy, Biden is Joe Pesci, Obama is Robt DeNiro
