I may not agree with your analysis but I respect
Just like the way Republicans see
their angle, I tend to be in that 66% of people
who felt the two Clinton terms are enormously successful and negated most of the ill policies of(economical, social, international issues) Reagan and his successor.
I agree this is greater joy for Republicans
because a self serving politician from other party trying to paint bad image to one of their own successful time in history.
I can excuse if somebody is inferior in Debate skills. Obama is calculatedly and methodically made the point about Republicans standing up against conventional wisdom in last 10 to 15 years.
He knows what he is doing and kind of effect he
wanted from political pool. He can kill two birds with one shot. Can undermine the Clinton admin. at same time mileage of staying above politics. Sort of no paritsan bone at all.
Do anybody notice Obama is trying his best
to make this thing about - that one person is stating obvious and trying to not being partisan(which is him in his opinion) the other is chronic bickering partisan politicians who even can't give credit to revered ex-president for his fair share(hillary and bill case for Obama's eyes)
Why everybody conviniently miss(especially MSM)
that Obama's comments about - 'last 10 to 15 years Republicans standing up against conventional wisdom'
Is it me or there is something big going on which I miss? Democratic leaders like Daschle etc. trying to attack Bill Clinton for quoting back Obama's comments.
Even before Bill Clinton talking about Obama's comments, I felt like any Democrat or an Independent for that matter an objective minded Republican can agree the enormous success of the
Clinton's policies. For Obama to calculatedly trying undermine that period it is punch in the gut for any true Democrats.
dpAndrews is so right.
I want to put a detailed comment about this which I cant do right now since Iam so pissed off about these weak and self serving Democrats currently.
