This is great news. I hope it will have an impact on whether or not Edwards endorses Obama. It seems unlikely that he'll endorse Clinton at this point, but he also may want to sit on the sidelines until a nominee is chosen. We'll see what happens.
Whether or not you're a Clinton person or an Obama person, there's no denying the large impact that young voter are having in this election. As progressives, we should be celebrating this trend and encouraging it.

I'm know this is completely off topic, but how come the blogesphere isn't going wild about the fact that Clinton is falling dramatically in the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking poll?
For the first time in months, Hillary has had 3 consecutive days bellow 40%...
Thursday: 38%
Friday: 37%
Today: 36%
(in fact, her numbers have fallen in all of the last 6 consecutive daily polls)
As you can see, this trend does not have to do with yesterday's drama, because it began shortly before the Thanksgiving holiday.
We have an important trend here people. Let's talk about it.
"clearly there is no crisis"??? There is an enormous funding shortfall crisis looming in the next few decades, and it's time that progressives address it. If we don't recognize the problem, conservatives will eventually gain the upper hand on this issue. Obama's statement is a perfect example of what he does best: being honest and frank about issues that matter.
We'll miss you and Matt. Looking at that list reminds me of the incredible work you've done for our party and the entire progressive movement over the last few years. You should be proud.
I think another important aspect to earning money by blogging is the emerging potential of video. Through sites like Blip, Revver, MetaCafe, and many others, bloggers could begin using video content to really boost profits. Short news clips and political rants are perfect for this medium, and are currently not as widespread as I suspect they'll be in they near future.
