I can't speak for the Democratic Underground, but I can tell you that you weren't "banned" from the Daily Kos for saying that Abramoff gave a third of his funds to Democrats, even though that statement is a bald-faced lie.  You would most likely have been "troll-rated," which is very small potatoes and wouldn't have curbed your ability to post comments or diaries on that site.  If indeed you were banned, it was for something far more flagrant.  Conservative posters are welcomed at DK, as long as they don't indulge in extreme personal attacks.  Contrast this to the average lifespan of a liberal poster's account at, say, the Free Republic, which can be measured in seconds as soon as he or she says something remotely challenging to conservative dogma.

As for Aravosis and other liberal bloggers getting someone arrested for posting pictures on their own blog, I highly doubt this is the actual story, if indeed any of this is true.  I will wait to hear the tale from another source.
