I Would Never Vote For John McBush

I am going to post this tomorrow at Daily Kos and I am hoping that there can be a gap bridged.  I am not saying to anybody that if Obama wins the nomination that you MUST vote for Obama.  I am saying that ANY person who would affirmatively vote for John McCain, Hillary supporter or Barack supporter, is a f*king a*hole.  I am calling on all Obama supporters to pledge NOT to vote for John McCain if Hillary ends up being the nominee.  Simultaneously I am calling on all Hillary supporters to reciprocate.  Will you join in this "bicandidate" endeavor?

I think that any Hillary supporter or Obama supporter who would affirmatively vote for John McCain is excrement.  I have no problem with people who, on principle, can not vote for Hillary or Obama if you have a legitimate reason (i.e. a willingness to steal an election) but any person who would actually vote for John McCain because their preferred Democratic candidate is not the nominee disgusts me.

Let's REMEMBER this folks.  On 90-95% of the issues, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are THE SAME.  There is little difference between the two presidential candidates other than nuances and styles.  So tell me how 1 person who genuinely likes Hillary or Barack, much less a few million, would vote for McCain if they don't get their way?  Whoever you are, if you exist in the polls as they say you do, you should be ashamed of yourself.  Would you really want a Third Bush Term after seeing the harm that Bush and right wingers have done to this country?
Let me be crystal clear about this.

If Hillary Clinton steals the nomination from Barack Obama by forcing delegates to change their votes at gunpoint, I still will NOT vote for John McBush.

If Hillary Clinton smears Barack Obama every minute of every day from now until the convention in Denver, I still will NOT vote for John McBush.

If Hillary Clinton sees me on the sidewalk and spits in my face while throwing a bag of dung down my mouth, I still will NOT vote for John McBush.

If Hillary Clinton spreads false information that Dave From Queens is actually Ted Bundy's long lost brother or the 20th 9/11 hijacker, I still will NOT vote for John McBush.

So pledge now, whether you are a Hillary supporter or an Obama supporter that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will you vote for John McBush.  (If you vote 3rd party or choose not to vote, so be it.)

What would a John McCain presidency mean?

The SCOTUS would be in the hands of anti-Constitution, anti-indivudal radicals for the next 30 years.  You will have NO Rights whatsoever.
Thousands more dead in Iraq simply for oil and Hagee(ish) Armageddon foreign policy.
Health Care Costs that are several hundred dollars a month above market value.
 Higher middle class taxes.
Excessive gas prices costing the average person an extra two to three thousand dollars a year.
 Osama Bin Laden continuously ignored.
More homes foreclosed, more people in poverty.
A 10 trillion dollar plus national debt that drains all American households of liquid assets.
More credit card and banking scams that harm consumers.
A probable World War III in which bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb McCain attacks Iran knowing that Russia and China will join in.
HELLO??????  WAKE UP?  McCain has associated himself with Rod Parsley, John Hagee, Sean Hannity, and Pat Robertson?  Are there any 4 creatures in America more disgusting than these four soulless cretins?

Re: I Would Never Vote For John McBush

To be fair I am not urging someone who feels the need to stay home or vote 3rd party to do otherwise.  But for ANYBODY to affirmatively say they would support McCain while claiming to support Obama or Hillary is patently absurd and we as Democrats need to unite on this.

Re: I Would Never Vote For John McBush

indeed I would never call myself a democrat and then in the same breath say I am voting for John Mccain because his stances on the issues are the right ones?

goodbye pro-choice
goodbye supreme court
goodbye health care reform
goodbye cutting back the bush tax cuts
goodbye getting out of Iraq,

nope as a Democrat John Mccain is OBVIOUSLY the best choice.

Re: Senator Straight Talk in the WH?

It's too awful to contemplate.  It'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for ANY republican, even a "moderate" like my own useless, weasely Arlen Specter.  If our party nominates a pig in a suit, I'll vote for the pig.  Happily, it won't come to that-either of our candidates will be head and shoulders better than the Maverick.

Tipped and rec'ed

As I said here: http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/3/26/1771 4/8112#readmore

John McCain is the enemy of a progressive movement and as an Obama supporter I would gladly vote for, donate to, and volunteer for Sen. Clinton if she became the nominee.
