I don't think there's any path to 260, let alone 270. Hell, there may not even be a path to 200.
For arguments sake, just looking at the map, if Obama wins all the states Kerry won (a safe assumption) and wins Iowa (another safe assumption), he need win only one of either Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, or a combo of Colorado and New Mexico or Colorado/Nevada (or, if you're feeling generous: Indiana or Georgia) to get to the white house. I personally don't see how McCain could pull all of those back into his favor. The numbers just aren't there for ol' Johnny Mac anymore.
I, too, miss it...but I'm also strangely relieved and happy that it got to bow out before it became bad, if that makes sense. It's just consistent quality thru all three seasons.
As mentioned by nearly everyone here, "The Office." It's tops as far as sitcoms. "Extras" on HBO is quite funny as well if you're a Gervais fan from the original "Office" series. The only serial drama show I really follow is "Lost." Other than that, I enjoy "Dirty Jobs" and "Mythbusters" and a whole host of other shows on that TLC, Discovery monolith. My secret guilty pleasure, though, is America's Funniest Home Videos.
Good point. I was trying to argue that a long time ago to someone from around here (I live in Northwest Florida) about how I would have loved to seen a Mark Warner vs. Giuliani matchup in '08. You'd definitely see a Democrat win in the south again.
I'd add that Romney won't play in the south either, however, since he's mormon.
Huckabee and Gingrich have got to be the early true "conservative" front-runners...at least for these southern states.
Retirment (or death I suppose - not to be morbid or wish him harm) may be coming soon for Castle. He's getting up there in years and hasn't been in great health.
Holding after a majority after '08 is important and I'm betting we'll be able to pull it off. One reason is that I bet we're going to see many more Republican retirements in the next cycle.

In Pensacola, Florida here. Been calling voters in Virginia and Colorado to remind them to vote on Tuesday if they haven't already!

The Office is quite different, stylistically speaking, from Arrested but they are both unbelievably hilarious.
I totally agree about Arrested ranking up there with Seinfeld though.

hotline's reporting that Jeb is supporting Romney. I doubt he'll run in '08.
I'm kinda doing a south beach thing so I had Turkey and cheese...no bread.
And a bag of Doritos (not south beach, I know but I needed something to munch)
Lampson had some pretty impressive fundraising this cycle. Hopefully that can continue in '08 and help hold the seat for us.
If Romney is the nominee he will lose horribly. Especially in southern states.
